Little Witches (1996)
Six misfit schoolgirls at an all-girl Catholic high school, left alone at the school for Easter week, get mixed up with the occult and witchcraft after an old Satanic temple is found underneath the church where they attend as well as an old book of black magic spells for conjuring up an ancient demon from the pits of Hell. Janie, the most characteristic and cruelest of the girls, takes charge of the group and plots to resurrect the demon using a series of black arts spells, while one innocent girl, Faith, has a change of heart and tries to stop them from completing their spell which also includes a human sacrifice.

I really wanted to like this movie. I feel terribly cynical trashing it, and that's why I'm giving it a middling 5. Actually, I'm giving it a 5 because there were some superb performances.

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
This is a dark and sometimes deeply uncomfortable drama
But aren't they always? So a group of interchangeable girls find a demonic temple underneath their Catholic boarding school, and discover that a past group of students from 80 years ago tried the same thing and were all killed horribly.Despite that, they try to summon the demon, for what reason, I'm not entirely sure. I guess so no one tells them what to do anymore.Oh, when I say Hight School Girls, I mean girls in their 20s, because they never hire teenagers to actually play teenagers...Look for guest appearances by that short lady from the Poltergeist films and Eric Peirpont from Alien Nation.
this is basically soft core porn really with awful acting also a rip off of the The Craft and don't get me wrong the girls are hot and all but this just sucks basically and it was watchable but it still sucksso don't bother *1/2 ou of 5
I loved this movie..... It had the right ammount of rage and teen angst in it. The whole freaky nun thing was silly, but none the less added to the entertainment value of "little witches" I would say, go rent it...it's a good laugh.
This movie was not only bad it was offensive and degrading. Im sure that the core audience of this film is Straight, male and in the age range of 12-24.It was simply a skin flick in the semblance of a horror movie. This movie should be called "Naked Bad Actresses That Kill!!" I feel bad for the people who enjoy GOOD horror movies and mistook this for one and had to sit through it. I also feel bad for anyone who practices Witchcraft and saw this piece of garbage, real witches simply dont kill people, sure some go skyclad (naked) during some rituals, but you can bet the acuracy of that detail was by mistake. Even if it was unheard of for real witches to go naked for some rituals this movie still would have been soaked with nudity and simplemindedness. Also, did anyone notice how similar the lead character and Fairuza Balk from "The Craft" look alike? A coincidence? I think not. DO NOT RENT PURE FILTH!!!!
