I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.

It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

Trent Ford's pivotal performance as the conflicted military man coming to grips with his sexuality is gut wrenching. Tammy Blanchard as his best bud's wife is equally memorable. Solid film all the way around.

An LGBT themed movie not full of cliche's and stereotypes. Trent Ford , Rob Mayes and Morgan Specter did an amazing job. These 3 guys put a serious face to a sad subject. Our LGBT service people and veterans have lived in the shadows for so long. They have served bravely and with distinction.Mr. Ford was and Mr Mayes were inspiration-ally moving in the sensitivity they showed.I need to also mention William Scott. There was an exchange between Mr. Ford and Mr Scott, where Mr Scott reaches out to Mr. Ford's character saying something like He had been waiting his whole life for someone. I cannot begin to understand how you feel. Mr Ford delivered that line in such a way as to relate the depth of feeling his character had. This is on my Re-watch list. Thank You for the movie and Thank You for amazing performances.

That's no indication of the sexual position preferences of the main characters, because I would have no way of knowing. This movie was so muddled and vague it wasn't even clear sex had happened until it was acknowledged in the dialog. We know the characters are in love. That's accomplished with smoldering surreptitious glances. But that's about all you can tell from this bottom-of-the-barrel script. It's really impossible to tell what's going on. It came as a surprise to learn that the action covers about eight years. One of the characters says so. I wouldn't have known otherwise. The plot is navy pilots vying for some prestigious assignment. Things go wrong. Eventually NCIS suspects planes crashed because pilots had gay feelings. No, really--that's it.The last quarter of the movie is more direct, focusing on the Don't Ask, Don't Tell idiocy. But it's pretty heavy handed. I almost expected one of the accusers to twirl a mustache, like the villain in a Dudley DoRight cartoon.I wanted to like this movie, in fact I liked the characters and the setting. But it's really only watchable if you don't care about things like continuity or logic.

One of the fine films I've seen about gays in the military when discrimination and homophobia existed. This is based on director's DMW Greer's play of the same title which received critical acclaim. The story focuses on two relationships. First is the "bromance" of Daniel and William who are F- 18 pilots working for the US Navy. Buddies from the start, this friendship was disrupted when a third guy Matthew entered the picture and became Daniel's love interest. This film is set during the period of Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy when the situation made the characters "internally" homophobic and sexually repressed, heartbroken and fearing for their career future. A gay witch hunt follows, investigating Daniel and Matthew relations and also that of William's and other pilots'.The last half hour is engrossing and will reveal secrets. But the message is clear: the old "Don't Ask Don't Tell" and the discriminatory policies before that did not work. It had only detrimentally affected the lives, loves and families of gays who really just want to serve their country. The film has very good production values, like a mainstream film, and very well paced. The acting is excellent especially by Trent Ford and Morgan Spector (fine acting at the last part). Rob Mayes is great as handsome Matthew.Over-all a film worth watching.
