It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

As the film began, I realized I'd have some trouble watching it. The sound quality is excessively poor, as often the background sounds overwhelmed what the actors were saying. At other times, the sound was too loud and made the film seem rather amateurish. At other times, the music completely dominated the film. I would have to say that the sound, in fact, was among the worst on any film in recent memory. To make things worse, there were no closed captions nor captions on the DVD. As I am very slightly hard of hearing, sticking with the film was a chore. So how was the rest of the film? Well, if you look at it as a strictly amateur production, it's not completely terrible...but this is not a ringing endorsement. The acting is fair and the action is fair (at best). The film is about the end of the world and the plot is rather reminiscent of Armageddon, as a giant asteroid is coming to destroy the plant. However, unlike this other film, there is no hope of diverting or destroying the Texas-sized rock. And, in the meantime, smaller chunks of rock come hurtling into the Earth as people contemplate their demise. Some turn to religion and others just whine about unfair everything is and some just kill themselves. It's all pretty unpleasant, that's for sure! However, I read some say that this film has a strong Christian message but the action in the film bears little relation to the accounts in the Bible. It's just unpleasantness--with mostly poor special effects, acting and sound. Not a feel-good film, that's for sure! In fact, I'm not sure why anyone would want to see this--but I can't see putting it in the Bottom 100 on IMDb. It doesn't quite reach the depths of awfulness such a ranking would imply.

What can I possibly say in its defence.Um. Well, the first 5 minutes almost showed promise.I think that's about it.Now that I've had a fair shot at being NICE about it.... I'll fill in the blanks. It sucks. Even my mother (of 70) who is a DEVOUT believer found this to be insulting, unwatchable, and a waste of time. She turned it off before the end.Me, I'm not that way inclined, and I thought it was utter crap too.So, two people from very opposite sides couldn't stand it.Anyhow, other than that... continuity... effects... sound editing... a finite number of monkeys (perhaps 10) randomly using typewriters and sticky back plastic WOULD have done better.Watch this film if you're gonna die tomorrow.. it will make you feel pleased at the prospect.

Simply a horrible movie. The part before the title came up was OK, after that it just got plain stupid. Lack of continuity, lack of explanation of events (like how they survived the plain crash, it was cut straight after they started falling down) and ridiculously long and pathetic dialogues. The guy mixing the sound did his best to try to hide them through putting in very loud music so only parts of them could be heard though. I tried adjusting all the audio settings I had on my system, but it was just no way of hearing the dialogue in some parts. I don't believe in God, but even if I did I can't imagine he ever would stage an apocalypse like this.To sum it up: Don't watch this BS, and if you do, be sure to stack up a whole lot of beer to help you get through it.

What started out to be an interesting science fiction disaster movie with people being hit my small rocks from space soon turned into one of the worst movies I have ever seen.Time and time again the cast members dialogue consisted of talk about religion to such an extent I had to double check the credits to see if it was made by a religious film company rather then Asylum. Also the music in the movie was so loud that it constantly drowned the dialogue and made it impossible to figure out what the actors/actresses where saying, the worst part was when the guy held them at gunpoint. For sure this is a movie that could have been better if the dialogue had been more sensible rather then going off on a tangent of religious sermons.
