Good concept, poorly executed.
I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
a film so unique, intoxicating and bizarre that it not only demands another viewing, but is also forgivable as a satirical comedy where the jokes eventually take the back seat.
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Satisfying. Other than the rape scenes. Revenge is a good thing to see. This movie shows it well.
A female art student is raped at college. She does not like it. She takes revenge and kills a few rapists. She goes to jail. Not a really good film.
Compare this to the movie "I Spit On Your Grave". You will see this was a Disney version of rape revenge.
I liked the movie only for its soundtrack and great performance by Francesca Eastwood. As for the story, it's totally unfair, unjustified and biased.Would I suggest this movie? Yes, because even if from a male perspective the story is unfair and hugely exaggerated, it still delves into the feminine mind of the director and has its own merits. The story contains good surprises too.6 out of 10 because it could be a more realistic and balanced movie .
