Admirable film.
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
This film has a good basic plot and could have led to a better than average production but with a slightly predictable twist that can be easily spotted due to the lack of other options. Perhaps if the budget had been bigger to allow for more suspects it would have been more interesting. It could probably make a pleasant lazing afternoon time killer but it's not a high powered thriller. The only problem with it, and it's a big one, is the stilted acting. The characters often appear to be polarized and have little depth. This could be down to the directing rather than the actors skills as it seems to have effected the entire cast.
