I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

Ajay Devgan's character Bajirao Singham is now in people's heart and you can understand it by hearing the whistles every time he comes on the screen. As always Ajay is in top form. Kareena has been utilized well here without getting overboard. A bonus treat here for all the CID TV serial fans is Inspector Daya who is addressed without any doubt with the same name that he is been known since years. Yes yes there is a door opening sequence for which he is known for.Ashwini Kalsekar and Anupam Kher are flawless in their respective roles. Amol Gupte and Naser Hussain as antagonists are superb. Rohit Shetty and team have given yet another entertainer for the audience with a message related to Mumbai police which we have seen in many Bollywood pot boilers but this ones handled well. Without any doubt Singham Returns will now join the 'better than first' rank of sequels. Singham was a classy mass entertainer. The team has done a brilliant work to make the sequel a better treat to their fans and they have succeeded all to the top.all_janaby

Good movie with usual masala. There is not a single person in India who can achieve what Sigham did today. The story is real (or close to real world modern India). Hero's capabilities are unreal and he is the best problem solver in India (as Mr James Bond in UK). As usual to appease minorities they show a Muslim prayer by a hindu hero (get real folks this is a marketing trick). And they project a hindu saint as the corrupt person. There is no doubt there are 100's of bad hindu saints but are 10 time more in the Muslim community. But the director does not have the balls to show bad guys are muslims because it will hurt the sentiment of muslims in India and movies will get banned. The term "secular" in Modern day India is a joke, it essentially mean appeasing the muslims (started from Indira Nehru).

Yet another awesome movie in later quarter of the year. At 1st Bajirao Singham has promoted to Mumbai-the paradise of crime. In acting department - Ajay Devgn lives his best role i guess. For the 1st time after Jab We Met Kareena's screen presence speaks a lot. Yes, i am praising her after years. Amol Gupte after Kaminey seems to be gem of movie, i guess he is capable enough to carry any kinda role. Rest of the cast does their job well. Coming to story part - it is the 1st time maybe Rohit Shetty works a lot on story and he won the battle here. Screenplay is too engaging, there are rare loopholes in it. Overall it's Entertaining throughout. Thumbs Up for Rohit Shetty Team

Rohit Shetty's flying movieMovie is OK, but there is too much drama. Do not be disappointed though. The moment you think that there is too much emotion... out pops a stereo system (in Background, of course). The songs and Kareena Kapoor have nothing to do in this movie. The leading lady has only one purpose, to irritate her hero and the public watching the film. (And I thought only the lead female part in Ek Villain could be so harmful)The law takes the law in their hands... powered by guns with infinite ammo and probably Dixcy Scott, Rupa, Lux Cozi... take your pick. Amole Gupte is excellent as a publicly spiritual but privately corrupt spiritual leader. The director blends a strong underlying message of police honour and dilemma with beats, beatings, sound-blasters and four-wheelers.And of course everything flies, from Safari to Sumo to Scorpio to Safari to van to villain to Ajay Devgan. Ajay is the only one whose acting seems sincere in this blended popcorn fare - whether he acts with his eyes or drives away his irritating girlfriend or empties "hundreds of bullets from a single pistol" (WOW, indeed) or one-lines his opponents to death. But the best scene has to be this... "The villains hide behind closed doors. Dayanand Shetty plays a supporting character in the movie who is also a cop. GUESS WHAT HAPPENS"On another note, I am glad Rohit Shetty did not remake the Tamil Singam2, because that has to be one of the worst sequels ever (a list which includes Golmaal 2,3...whatever will follow by Arithmetic Progression) and I say this despite Suriya being a good actor and Anushka Shetty one of my favourite actresses currently and Hansika Motwani a good looking actress. To end, if Golmaal 3 can do wonders at the B.O... then this one actually has a story.Ciao
