Pixel Perfect (2004)

I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.

The performances transcend the film's tropes, grounding it in characters that feel more complete than this subgenre often produces.

Let me be very fair here, this is not the best movie in my opinion. But, this movie is fun, it has purpose and is very enjoyable to watch.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

I rated it 9 because it deserves much more than the 5.6 it has at the moment. The songs are catchy and meaningful, and the acting is commendable. Although the first time i watched it (I've caught it over 4 times) I found Sam a tad irritating, it's easy to relate to the feeling of living in someone's shadow.The graphics in the internet highway and Sam's imagination were really good, but during performances or the dinner date, the graphics looked a bit too exaggerated and cheap. (perhaps as not to be taken seriously) Another thing that could have been changed slightly would be the dance routines which did not really work with the songs. Other than these very small "faults", the show was very touching and as with all Disney movies, there is a moral to the story. Very much worth watching as a filler for a Sunday evening with the family or friends.

When I saw the commercial for Pixel Perfect, I just thought, "Ok...why not watch it?" Good thing I did, because I found it to be a great movie! The songs were really good (and that includes the instrument music, too) and I did not get annoyed with the music videos, unlike some songs where you'd feel "oh god not again" when seeing the videos. Notice Me and Nothing's Wrong with me were really good. :D She's not a really main part and all but my favorite character was Cindy, played by Tania Gunadi. Not a very important role, but well played.The dances were not extremely good. And like another user mentioned, Loretta's flips were obviously fake.Many Disney movies are like you totally know what's gonna happen, but here, even though it WAS predictable, it was not entirely as I guessed.Overall, it was a great movie and the actors/actresses in the movie were really good. Cool, you should watch it!

This movie is better then I expected, but I found Sam, played by Leah Pipes character was very annoying and bossy. It also teaches that if you are a jerk towards your friends, they'll still like you, which in most cases isn't true. Other than the annoying characters, the movie was pretty good. The acting was good, but I had to watch it several times to completely understand everything that was going on. The music was pretty good, but the dancing was pitiful and Loretta Modern(Redford) was supposed to be a REALLY GOOD dancer, but I don't consider cart wheels and flip flops dancing. The movie is pretty funny, and the jokes make you think.I believe this movie is okay if you like goofy and unrealistic plots, but this movie is not for a practical thinker. I give this movie 5 out of 10 stars.

I really was disappointed. Like many of my friends we're older and can't appreciate Disney movie's like younger children can. But I expected more out of Disney. They're credits, films, and shows have only gone downhill since the original Walt died. There is NO replacing him and his great creative ideas.
