Slow pace in the most part of the movie.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
The acting in this movie is really good.
I like how the filmmaker follows 4 notable social media icons, especially Paris Hilton, as they use their online presence to create something bigger than themselves. I think Bert Marcus does a splendid job approaching industry notables to share the rollercoaster ride that follows when deciding to share your life for millions to watch - also get a glimpse of their life and insight. This documentary is a 'must watch' as it helps the viewer better understand that there's more than meets the eye.
This movie is such a good indulgence on how social media has shaped celebrities and influencers. I would say this is appropriate for both young and older audiences on the outlook of how big of a platform social media has.
The American Meme is a MUST see. It explores very universal themes, super informative AND entertaining.
I'm in my 20s, a prime millennial so they say, but I never fully understood the length to which Social Media affects our culture - I check it once a day, but my life isn't over if someone unfollows me (I don't even notice). This film shed light on 4 different but equally compelling stories. I was entertained by this film all the way through - it was fun and entertaining, yet education and emotional, and those are my favorite types of films.
