Raiders of the Lost Shark (2015)
Four friends set out by boat for an idyllic vacation on a private, remote island. But unknown to them, a weaponized shark has escaped from a top secret military lab nearby, a shark that was genetically engineered with hate in its blood, and programmed to hunt any human within range. Now, these friends must band together to battle an all new brand of predator who will stop at nothing to remain at the top of the food chain.

Truly Dreadful Film
Just perfect...
The movie turns out to be a little better than the average. Starting from a romantic formula often seen in the cinema, it ends in the most predictable (and somewhat bland) way.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
Recently i have watched quite a few shark films, this is definitely the worst!I think its an insult to call this a film. It looks like it was recorded from an IPhone. 0 amount of effort went into making this mess. I watched the trailer before viewing this movie, and its something when the trailer makes absolutely no point, as its absolutely means nothing whatsoever to the whole plot.In short a military shark has escaped .. a teacher wants revenge for the shark eating her sister .. Teenagers wanting to go to the island to assume look at the shark? In the trailer its mentioning about a perfect vacation, utter rubbish.The actors are beyond awful. You don't gain any sort of warmth for any of the characters. In some cases, it looked like they actually have forgotten their lines, and it was improvised. Its a shame, because the only decent thing about this film is the poster advertising it. Summery: Positives - If you need something to add to the trash, the disc is perfect. - Nice movie poster.Negatives - This "film" exists. - Appalling acting from every "actor". - The effects for this "flying shark" is the biggest pile of rubbish. This film is 2015, the effects really take the mick with a film this modern. Brett Kelly is producer. "FLYINGGGGG SHARKKKKKKKKKKK!" .... OK
Just like the underrated classic "Jurassic Shark", also by actor and director Brett Kelly, Raiders of the Lost Shark convinced me with fantastic effects, awesome acting and a story line that made the movie totally believable.Even dialogues in French, will you believe it, are included in this timeless classic.If ONLY we hadn't run out of beer while watching it, I would've given 10/10, but the remaining bit of sobriety stopped me from fully enjoying this masterpiece.
Raiders of the Lost Shark (2015) 1/2 (out of 4)People keep going missing at a local lake and a Professor believes that it might be the long lost Megalodon. A tragic event from her past makes her the perfect fighter to battle the large killer that is stalking the waters.RAIDERS OF THE LOST SHARK is a really horrible movie but you've at least got to give the filmmakers credit for the title. It's a bit shocking that someone didn't come up with that title before now but there's no other spoof or connection to the Steven Spielberg movie. Not RAIDERS or even JAWS for that matter.Obviously one shouldn't go into a picture like this expecting the work of Spielberg but there's really not too much on display here. I think there were enough campy moments to where you could get some unintentional laughs from it including some of the acting, which we will just say it's all that professional.The special effect shark is really awful but I guess that is to be expected. He appears to change shape and form during every scene and the scenes of him flying are beyond silly. The attack sequences are also rather bad since the majority of the time people just go underwater and that's the attack. RAIDERS OF THE LOST SHARK thankfully lasts just under seventy-minutes and there is one good laugh dealing with the aftermath of a tourist seeing his girlfriend eaten.
OK, I will start with the fact that I do enjoy the ridiculous shark/monster movies of late i.e Mega Piranha, Robocroc, Mega Shark VS etc, they make me smile! I can't help it. But this film is beyond them, this film is so dire it makes me lose faith in the fun of the others.The story line doesn't make any sense. It jumps about and never seems to go anywhere, I tend not to judge a film until watching it all the way through, but this, I couldn't last any more after 35mins. And as for the shark, even Jaws 3 would be disappointed.DO yourself a favour, pass on this mess and watch anything by Roger Corman, now there is a man who makes a fun movieThere's always Troll 2...
