Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

Hybrid (2010) this movie is also know as Super Hybrid" I didn't not expect much from this movie, I expect something really , really bad, so I had very low expectations with this movie. The movie dose not take to long to get going, which I liked and the moving is very fast pacing and never gets boring at all.I thought I would hate this movie but I ended up really enjoying this movie, I thought it was lot fun to watch. There was tense scenes, with the Car trying run people over, Also liked the fact, that the car it's not what it is!It's looked decent, well not scary also really enjoyed some of the deaths scenes, the acting was okay not great but more then a watch able.I loved the last scene from movie, perfect ending for this movie 7 out of 10 Really good movie,

Seems reviewers here missed the point or simply do not really get the horror genre, its eclectic mix of thresholds, how it can transform quickly and how it is not just about Brad Pitt killing zombies.True horror movies take what we view as ordinary, run-of-the-mill, and take that to a place, usually a dark place, and present something totally unexpected. Here is a movie that does just that. Believe me, when you see how this movie goes, you will be glad you sat down to watch it. Here we have a killer sentient car, able to transform into other car models (wow...what a paint job!) at will, and tempts people to sit inside - to consume their flesh. Following an accident, the battered car is towed into a Chicago police impound garage. For the employees trapped inside, it is a fight for survival against a malicious being...The car from hell idea is no newbie to the horror genre but what this film does with the idea - sure is folks! I am not adding spoilers here.I love horror movies where the evil transcends from the usual: the serial killer, the thing in the lake, the alien beings, the possession... That's all been there, done that, and few films manage to bring something new with those premises. So, when I read about a killer car morphing into other car shapes and outwitting humans - I just had to see it. Last time I saw a killer car idea as good as this one was actually called The Car, a 70s horror movie. The simple premises are always the best ones in this genre. This one goes into overdrive and pits steel against bone in 90 mins of pure thrill time.

Well, I was expecting a Christine type plot where the car is possessed by an evil entity not a squid/octopus looking sort of creature. I did like parts of it however. The creature/car integration effects were good. I found the end surprising in that there were more of these Super Hybrids out there and they seemed on taking revenge for the loss one of their species. Did the doomed one communicate telepathically upon dying and contact the others? This was not clear to me. Also, not enough explanation of the creature's origin. It just showed up. What made it turn into a car as opposed to some other shape? Lots of questions, but thanks for keeping me somewhat entertained. :-)

Synopsis a car prowls the streets of Chicago hunting humans when it gets smashed up in a collision with another car. It is towed to the 29th district garage where the staff quickly realise the car is alive and it is hunting them all down. This film is really not very good. The basic idea may work on paper but it is basically stupid. Anyone with any training in biology may have to be restrained from attacking the screen when they hear the rubbish theories by the characters when they are trying to figure out what the car is. Maybe that was actually a subtle joke about poor educational standards. The film is fairly tedious with lots of running around and driving cars about in the garage. The killings are fairly tame and bloodless and most came about from script induced acts of stupidity. The padding is quite obvious when the car, which can change to look like any car, keeps doing this even when no-one comes near it to see it. I didn't really care about the characters. Oded Fehr's character Ray is so incredibly stupid and he's written that way to ensure that a weak idea for 30 minute short is padded out into a full length feature film. The main protagonist Tilda, played by Shannon Beckner, also annoyed me a lot. The actors are okay but they are poorly written.CGI plays a big part in this film but it really lacks credibility or imagination and instead looks like just another bland spectacle more suited to a derivative first-person-shooter game.I don't really now who this would appeal to because it really didn't appeal to me.rating 3/10
