The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

Reading most of the reviews I get why a lot of people would say that this film didn't need to be made.I myself is a fan of disturbing movies but this one struck so hard that I kept thinking about it days after watching it. Maybe because it is based on real events. To me, it is good they made this film. It served as an informative material to me. After watching it I read articles about psychopaths. It is really hard to imagine they could be anywhere, like your neighbors or your friends. There is more than meets the eye. Good reminder to always be careful and cautious.** SPOILERS **I wish they told us more about the real involvement of Karla to the murders. Based on the paragraph shown in the end, she is more psychopathic than Paul. And wow she even got out of jail and has a child? Hopefully the kid grows up good. I read that psychopathy can be genetic.I only watched this because I've watched Supernatural and love Misha there, and have been binge watching That 70's show where Laura Prepon stars as Donna. Got really interested with them being paired up.

How many times have you watched a crime film that has a ludicrous plot, or one that is too outrageous to entertain? "Karla" is one such film, but shockingly it is a true story. If you haven't heard of her, Karla Homolka is Canada's most hated woman, and with good reason, for what kind of woman marries a serial rapist, knowingly, after having facilitated his drug-assisted rape of her own sister, who dies as a result? But it gets worse, after that, Homolka helped Bernardo continue his reign of depravity. As its title suggests, this film is related from her viewpoint, so sees her minimising her role as far as possible, something she could not extend to Tammy's death because of the video evidence. The names of the other two murder victims have been changed, and obviously due to the usual constraints, a lot has been omitted, but this is a brave film. While it is true that the psychopathic Bernardo beat her severely, only a total douchebag would attempt to portray Homolka as a victim. That or the Attorney General of Ontario, but nuff said. "Karla" was released shortly after she was, the latter being an act that disgusted the Canadian public. The content of this film may disgust you, but don't blame the cast or the people behind it, they have done their craft proud.

The film portrays Karla in not as even of a light as she should of been. They made Paul look extremely bad which he was so that is all fine by me. But Karla they made to look like a psychotic victim. Lets get one thing clear, she shows little remorse for the victims she just might of killed, and agreed to kill (so either way shes psychotic) and she is a sociopath with no empathy. She has s huge IQ and she is just an awful person. So to the see the film make her out to be a confused, helpless victim was just as sick as what these two did to these three or four, or more poor girls if you count Pauls rapes in Scarbourough.Anyway the movie is disturbing as expected but it does a good job at looking at a real-life story and something that can happen. It is all so amazing and shocking this happened in Canada, my country that is supposed to be safe. But this is an evil, evil world.I feel sorry for the family and friends of the victims and do not encourage them to ever watch this but I think it is important the world can see this story so they know the evil these two committed and sure it is a big injustice she is now free after her deal with the devil twelve year plea bargain. But it is important Paul spends the rest of his life in prison as a dangerous offender. Karla is a sociopath, Paul is a sick, evil, psychotic scumbag that should never see the light of day again. If your into true, killer movies, then it is not bad at all. Just be prepared for some altered facts and disturbing scenes.7 out of 10.

Although i hate that things like this happen in reality, movies like the above help to make us understand that evil lurks around every corner no matter where you are or who you are.Things like this happen everyday and we need to be aware of that for our kids, our friends, our neighbors and our families!Cases have gone unsolved and people like Paul and Karla deserve to be punished for their actions and crimes. I definitely recommend this title to anyone who has an open mind. This is not a movie for younger audiences, so don't pop it in on family night. Some scenes may be very disturbing as they involve rape, violence and murder.
