if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.

One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

I love the original Cinderella, so after the disappointing Cinderella II my hopes were low. But it turned 180 degrees shortly after pressing play. As most people have complained, Cinderella and many other Disney Princesses from that time were passive and dull. In Cinderella's case, the prince was even duller, but Cinderella III: A Twist in Time managed to correct everything lacking about the original. The prince is hillarious in this one! His goofiness really adds to the enjoyment of this Disney sequel. Cinderella is also given much more action scenes and choices to make. The stepmother and -sisters also maintain their despicable nature and the stepmother is just as intimmidating or even more with the wand from Fairy Godmother in her hands. For a direct-to-dvd sequel, the animation is pretty damn good with great backgrounds and awesome effects especially in the action scenes. In short, Cinderella III: A Twist in Time, as silly as it sounds, is a highly recommendable Disney Sequel. Aladdin and the King of thieves is probably the best continuation of a classic Disney feature, but the best sequel in terms of self-awareness and overall quality definitely goes to this one.

Cinderella II was not bad but it made you wanting for more because there was not really much of a suspenseful story in there. Cinderella III though picks up where Cinderella II went wrong and presents a really great story. The original Cinderella was good but I think Cinderella III at least equals it and might even be surpassing it. Personally I liked III more than the original movie but that is just my preference. Instead of a Cinderella passively waiting to be saved, she fights to win her love back. That's the Cinderella I would have loved to see more in the original one. It's very nice that the story keeps the idea of Cinderella II where Anastasia (Cinderella's stepsister) softens up and becomes much more likable actually evolving into my favorite Cinderella character and one of my favorite Disney characters altogether. Cinderella III has humor, drama and even scary scenes and not to forget some serious twists. It certainly has not stolen its title. Although too many sequels is not good I still would love to see some of Cinderella and Anastasia's adventures as real sisters and good friends. The only problem with this one is that some characters from the second movie are nowhere to be seen (Pon-Pon and Bruno). That's the only thing that keeps me from giving it perfect score.

When Disney decided to close Disney Australia, Cinderella III was in its pipeline. This fired up the production crew to put extra effort into this particular sequel, $6 million to make and Disney Australia's final film. The result's a worthy addition to the Disney Cinderella universe, giving the central characters more dimensions and interactions. The Prince, King, Stepmother and Stepsisters all expand their thoughts and feelings (we learn how the King felt for his departed Queen, etc.). The mice have fun moments including their whacky takeoff of "disfunctional theater" as they explain to the Prince key plot points, and once again prove heros as they scamper about the Nightmare Pumpkin taking Cinderella to her possible demise. Cinderella, often perceived as weak because of her 50's heritage, becomes more pro-active and almost an action-hero in the film's closing moments. Animation ranges from TV to feature quality, with faithful color timing, solid music and good voice talents topping things off.

Yeah it was a great movie! lol it was like they read some fan fiction that involved this plot and thought that it would be neat to try going in that direction. An I got to say I didn't expect it to turn out so well from the beginning but now I must say it's because I was being a hard headed Disney purist with the whole thing of No Disney Sequels are Bad! But now I see I was wrong, there's actually some good ones in plot wise and then there's some bad ones you just have to watch them for at least 30 mins to give them a chance but some may require 40 mins the most.Come on people, remember the old saying YOU CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER! lol that's why we all need to read the title of a book and then flip it over and read the back of it before buying, or sometimes we open the book and read a page or we just decide to give it a shot and give the first chapter a read then when were done we are hooked or not.So please next time you think NO WAY!, don't be Lazy! and give it a chance and watch the first 30 minutes on Toon Disney or Disney channel like I did and if that's too much at least read a summary for the movie or watch a trailer. In my defense I must say do Both! Because the trailer's sometimes make the movies appear better than they really are example Bridge to Terabithia!
