Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.
One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
How often does someone jokingly say something to the effect "I could kill ..." which in this case is "those/my kids." Well, a satirical, humorous, definitely exaggerated, hyperbole on that idea is to be found "literally" happening in this film. The mystery contagion is never identified, but doesn't matter as the events that unfold are so outlandishly funny, you don't care. And, not important as it's usually some stupid made up contagion or hi-freq sound wave that science doesn't support. Additionally, not really germane to the film's fundamental idea. Great acting in this over-the-top, and creatively conceived reckoning. Fortunately we are spared the details of the mayhem so it's somewhat all-age appropriate. Ending left to the audience to conclude, but I think that outcome is fairly obvious (tit for tat).
Unless you like to watch children being murdered...
For a movie with no hype and low expectations straight to dvd, I thought it was actually decent and kept my interest. Some good comedy mixed with a lot of "I'm gonna kill you". Give it a try.
If you're looking for a vaguely sad,depressing (which of course many horror films are) but impressively scary horror film then you'll probably enjoy this. But it is definitely not a dark comedy. My dad just walked out saying "you owe me" as I convinced him to watch it because it promised horror and humour. I think as a father of four he's a little shaken - horror, no humour.
