The film involves the team-up of five different Super Sentai teams (Ninja Sentai Kakuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger, Kyōryū Sentai Zyuranger, Chōjin Sentai Jetman, and Chikyū Sentai Fiveman), who must defend the planet Earth from the evil demon Emperor Daidas. In addition to the five Sentai teams, the film also features Shiro Izumi, who played Yūma Ōzora in Dengeki Sentai Changeman and Burai in Zyuranger, as Masato, a young man who witnesses the Emperor's weak point with his sister Ayumi. Masato and Ayumi also appear in Kamen Rider World, linking the two movies. The narration was provided by Hironori Miyata, the narrator from Dairanger.

It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

The storyline feels a little thin and moth-eaten in parts but this sequel is plenty of fun.

Super Sentai World was Japan's pretty interesting spin on the superhero genre and the battle scenes were done pretty well. Unlike most mainstream sci-fi, this short did not really care about being sexy, gory, etc., it just cared about being cool. That was it. Additionally, it was not nearly as complicated as modern mainstream superhero fiction, so therefore you could like it without being a huge die-hard fan. The special effects were not really all that (they did not really use CGI) but it is pretty much impossible to care. The Kakuranger's theme music was also pretty catchy. Super Sentai World is an awesome short film and I highly recommend it
