This movie exemplifies the free spirit and "can-do" attitude that makes this country great. It's not a perfect film by a long shot, but I don't need perfect, I'm tired of shiny, polished, empty films filled with slick vacuous actors with no personalities beyond what they play. Give me real people doing what they love, produced by the same, and distributed outside the normal channels that control what we see. There's a lot of humor in this film, it plays well and counteracts the seriousness of some of the content. I'd like to say that the law enforcement characters were caricatures of the real thing, but unfortunately I've met their doppelgangers, and there are real people who act like this in the world, and who blaze through lives in a way no outlaw motorcycle club rider ever could. This movie is actually a western, with motorcycles instead of horses, and men using their fists instead of shooting it out. I enjoyed the entire thing, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend it to anyone I know that rides, and even those who don't but understand the relationship of not only a man and his machine, but to those around him who share those common traits.

This movie does an amazing job of portraying the true life of the American biker. Anyone involved in this production should be proud of the work they produced here! Many people in America have no idea what it is to be a true biker and the loyalty among bikers and within bike clubs. I am proud to say I know what this is like. I myself have never been a "member" of a bike club but I have known many people who have and they were some of the best friends a guy could have! I am proud to have been associated with them and to have been a part of their lives as well as have them be a part of mine. I personally know one of the men in this show. I support him as well as all of those involved 100%. Many people have the misconception that bikers are all a bunch of mean, hateful people who do nothing but drink and fight all the time. There are some who are like that, but that number is a very small number. Yes, all of the bikers I have known do enjoy life and live to ride. It is in their blood so to speak. This movie does a lot to show the lifestyle and how the clubs are a brotherhood! Just like with any group, there are almost always at least one person who is in it for themselves and have their own purpose. These FEW often bring about the hard times for clubs and fuel the misconception about biker clubs. Again, I have know many bikers in my life and am now and always will be proud to call them FRIENDS!

If you want to see an honest movie, not a cookie-cutter, Hollywood blockbuster made purely and simply to generate an income for the people involved, you need to see this movie. I freely admit that as soon as you start watching this movie, it is obvious that it isn't a big budget movie, but it is a fantastic movie none-the-less. This movie is art, pure and simple. If you were to think of a big budget Hollywood movie as a photo, this movie is an oil painting... sure, it is obvious it isn't as realistic as a photo, doesn't have as much detail as the photo does, but you can tell it was made with passion, by someone that enjoyed the effort of painting, worked for hours to make something that isn't as precise as something made in an instant with a machine. Hollywood has lost it's way, but with a little luck, movies like this will guide it back to the path of making art, not just money.

I found the movies great! I love watching independents break out of the cookie cutter boxes and share their stories. Knowing this film is rooted with the works of an American Legend and real people had me hyped to watch it! "Aren't most people curious about this man?" COME ON! You know you are :-) With this perspective it absolutely did not disappoint me. I was curious, entertained and sometimes shocked. It made me smile, laugh and even cry. While some posted about the quality, I think that is a matter of preference based on how you define quality to begin with. If you want all the latest and greatest technical "FAKE" thrills, then you may not appreciate this film. If you want to support independent film makers trying to get their stories out, bring you real people in real places , (which is quality in my opinion) YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED with this. So are you a people or a sheeple? Your decision, choice and money. But I would suggest you watch it!
