It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.

Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

Angel in Green is a good film, but it has numerous technical flaws in weaponry, uniforms and actions that are far from Special Forces behavior. First the Green Beret Team is larger than a typical "advisor team." Also the Teams patches are on the uniforms incorrectly and two of the team members are wearing uniforms from the 101st airborne division, which is not the Green Beret. Captain Wicker is shown throughout the film wearing silver wings with a camouflage uniform. This is improper in a subdued uniform. The soldiers' magazine pouches are always flat and empty. Also Captain Wicker though always carrying his 1911 .45 automatic, is never carrying magazines for it. After the Team begins training the natives there is a scene in which the natives are shown traversing an obstacle course, at least one man is shown carrying an FAL rifle. The FAL is not used by the US Special Operations Command to arm natives.Later Captain wicker and a native go to find the rebel's camp, Captain Wicker is shown leaving the village in a green T-shirt and he is carrying his web (T-50) gear. Later just outside the camp Captain Wicker is wearing a complete set of fatigues and T-50 gear.Once the battle starts the M-16A2s are shown firing on full auto. M-16A2s really only fire 3-round-bursts. In addition the Special Forces soldiers are shown "snatching the trigger", in boot camp they teach recruits to squeeze the trigger. Also the M-60 machine guns are shown firing without belts of ammo, And when they finally do "load" them, they pull the bolt back flip up the top cover then put the belt in. In reality the last thing you do is pull the bolt back. Also in the background, a native is shown shoulder firing an M-60 machine gun as it fires he is receiving no recoil. Real M-60 machine guns have a tendency to kick like a mule when shoulder fired. Captain Wicker fires his .45 and runs out of ammo after only 3 rounds. A US Special Forces Soldier would have had a Full Magazine and more on their belt.At the end a US Army UH-1 helicopter is shown unguarded with the engine off, In a potential war zone. In reality there would have been guards posted and the engine would have been left on, with crew inside. Speaking of crew the chopper only has a pilot and co-pilot, why is there no door gunner on board?
