This is a tender, generous movie that likes its characters and presents them as real people, full of flaws and strengths.
Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable
After playing with our expectations, this turns out to be a very different sort of film.
As a huge Blondie fan, I recommend this great concert all the way! Filmed in Toronto just before the band's breakup in 1982, Blondie: Live! captures the moment brilliantly. From great performances of well-known hits (Heart Of Glass, Call Me, One Way Or Another, The Tide Is High etc) to some wonderful renditions of tracks from their last album before their breakup, "The Hunter" (Island Of Lost Souls, Danceway and a blistering version of War Child), not to mention a cover of the Rolling Stones' "Start Me Up", Blondie: Live! delivers the goods. The music is stunning, as is the ever-gorgeous Debbie Harry. The band is wonderful and the atmosphere of the show is fantastic. An amazing concert, made even better by the fact that it can be picked up fairly cheaply on DVD from most stores now.The complete setlist is as follows:1. Rapture 2. Island of Lost Souls 3. Danceway 4. The Tide Is High 5. Heart Of Glass 6. Hanging on The Telephone 7. Dreaming 8. One Way Or Another 9. War Child 10. Start Me Up 11. Call Me
