I gave this film a 9 out of 10, because it was exactly what I expected it to be.

It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

You know.. some people like movies for their plot, others for whatever similarities they find in them. But this one is great for it's last scene alone. The movie minus the last scene is alright, but it's the ending that paints a never-seen-before emotional picture that not many movies can show. That way I'd even compare it to a peace of art. Can't really describe it, but by watching it I feel more human. Not many movies can do that, not many. This movie is a slow trip, but in the end it might make you experience something, something indescribable, yet very human. If you want to be taught by this movie, and feel the experience, then you will - in a way that is completely new and..beautiful.

This is a terrible film. Angie Dickenson is a class act and always does well, but she does not get many roles any more and she must have needed some money to do this film. By the way, she is on screen less than 10 minutes. Oooh, wait, there is one redeeming feature in this film: Meg Foster has a small part in this film. Now, Meg has been on the screen for 35 years and is not particularly great but she has the scariest eyes of any actress I have ever seen. By name, you probably don't know her, but one look at her eyes and you will recognize her. To summarize: the acting is horrid, the story bad, and even the filmography is dreadful. A screen going to black every time the director wants to change scenes is pretty moronic. Watch any thing else but this, even Mr Ed reruns!

I really enjoyed this movie, the actors are all great. At first you kind of find yourself feeling sorry for the mother, but as it progresses you realize it is her own doing that is making her so miserable. I have watched it 2-3 time and enjoyed each time. I usually do not watch anything I have seen before. I would love to know the song his daughter sang. I have watched this movie 2-3 times and the song eludes me each time. I try to see it in credits, but writing is too small. If anyone knows the song please help.I read in one of the other comments where someone thought she was a good singer, maybe that person can help me. I really was not able to get to many words to the song as I came into room just as she stopped sing, or the went to another scene.Thank you. mapa-2

Come on? FANTASTIC DRAMA ON SCREEN? Are you joking folks? I wouldn't put horrible Molly Gross to play even in school play! Where did these people learn acting? Borrowing some papers from their neighbors actor? Terrible plot, awful acting. Heh ... why do you take us for an imbeciles? What can I say more. I understand this is an TV production and the acting is not supposed to be the one from Citizen Kane. But nevertheless they should try it harder in order to earn their money. And apart from that what can be said IN 10 LINES for a simple movie like this? U wanna article in the morning paper? To say what? Worse film in the decade? OK, you want it - you got it!
