Peter Gabriel: Secret World Live (1994)
Filmed in Modena, Italy across two nights in November 1993 as part of Peter Gabriel's acclaimed Secret World Live tour in support of the Us album, the show is elaborately presented and choreographed with two stages joined by a narrow pier. Peter Gabriel has always been a charismatic live performer with the ability to draw his audience into the onstage world he has created and rarely has this been better captured than on Secret World Live.

A very feeble attempt at affirmatie action
n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.
This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.
If I was more familiar with the songs in here, I know I would like this DVD concert disc more than I do. Gabriel's songs are decent; I have no complaint with them....I am just unfamiliar with a lot of groups from his era. I like the low-keyness (if there is such a word) in many of his tunes and I like the African sound he has in a couple. The visuals aren't as good as I had hoped. With a DVD, I expect good visuals otherwise the CD will suffice. Perhaps the nicest surprise of this concert was Gabriel's female lead vocalist, Paula Cole, whose voice I really liked.Gabriel is energetic and his concert does have imagination with a few interesting props, such as the phone booth in the opening number, and later a tree and a trap door. Overall, I wasn't familiar enough with Gabriel to fairly judge this. I thought it was "fair" overall, but, as mentioned, if I were more familiar with his numbers, I probably wouldn't have rated it higher.
I first saw this video a few years ago and, though I hadn't listened to Peter Gabriel much before that, I became an instant fan. Now that I have attended a Peter Gabriel concert, I think that this video accurately portrays the experience of attending a Peter Gabriel concert and also documents one the greatest audio visual experiences of the century. His concerts are a conceptual art piece more then a musical gathering. I recommend this video to everybody.
I have seen this video so many times, I've almost memorized it. Peter Gabriel is one of the best artists to ever exist. With his scratchy voice and haunting lyrics, it almost makes you want to cry, he's so good! He is such a talented musician, and I wish more people would realize that. The only thing is...this video NEEDS TO BE ON DVD! Does anyone know if they are ever going to release a DVD, and if they are, when?
I went to see this concert in 93 when I was 9. Even at such a young age I must say that Peter Gabriel has got be My Favorite artist. This film shows some of his best songs done great. The only thing wrong with this is that it has Paula Cole. They should have had Sinead O'connor Like the one I went to.
