Lynyrd Skynyrd performed their first two studio albums, Pronounced 'Leh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd and Second Helping, live in their entirety for the first time, at two specially staged concerts at the Florida Theater in their home town of Jacksonville, Florida. Purely Joyful Movie!
In other words,this film is a surreal ride.
As somebody who had not heard any of this before, it became a curious phenomenon to sit and watch a film and slowly have the realities begin to click into place.
It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.
