Cord (2015)
On a post-apocalyptic world of never-ending winter, a sparse cast of outsiders live underground. Due to their unsanitary conditions, sexual contact has become dangerous. Masturbation has become the paradigm of sexual experience and an array of low-tech devices with this purpose has come into existence. In this bleak reality, Czuperski (a dealer of such machines) and Tania (a sex addict) make a deal: she will allow him to experiment new devices on her body in exchange of pleasure. Soon however, their relationship goes out of control.

Such a frustrating disappointment
This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
While it is a pity that the story wasn't told with more visual finesse, this is trivial compared to our real-world problems. It takes a good movie to put that into perspective.
This is a wintry post apocalyptic world where people with Russian sounding names speak English with French accents except for the government announcement. They have electricity from...???? Sex makes the genitals rot. Touching people causes rot etc. Unable to get clean even with all that snow around them. People use an orgasm machine that plugs into the medulla. For the most part, the film had two people in it and one room. It wasn't really explained how anyone survived. Our protagonist got 7 cans of food one day, but that was a rarity. Not sure what he ate normally and why there weren't zombies. The idea seems to be using sex to control women, an addiction like heroin, although any metaphor wasn't made clear.Guide; F-word, sex, brief nudity....less than what you would expect from the description.
