It is a whirlwind of delight --- attractive actors, stunning couture, spectacular sets and outrageous parties.

I have seen Taylor in the show (The 100) I like her acting. She has done a great work in this movie too. I would like to see her in more shows like these.

I decided to watch this on Netflix simply because i couldn't find anything else to watch. This "Christmas Inheritance" is something that we've all seen a trillion times before, this film is similar to those Christmas TV lifetime movies except this film is a little better made. The performances are good, but the plot is cliched and predictable. As a Christian i can easily see a lot of Godly positive factors in this movie, it's a nice film, but it is not very entertaining. If you like these type of common story lines then you will like this movie. There is a negative element which i want to mention which is the biased view of small towns being good and big cities being negative, a comment was made in a piece of dialogue about why a particular character left New York, it's a generalisation, and as someone who lives in a city i can see why city life and city people can be seen as a negative, but at the same time i lived in a small town for a few months and not everyone was friendly there, so i don't buy everything that this movie was trying to feed me.Christmas Inheritance is predictable from the start and especially when the main female lead meets the male lead as soon as she arrives in that small town. To be honest i was hoping that she would stay with the black guy/her fiance, all he needed was a little bit of an attitude adjustment, or the film should have at least made the ending different by having her go back to New York without the fiance and just having a change of heart in general, that would have actually been better than going back to the small town with the romance cliched ending. This film is too safe, Netflix writers need to step up their game, Netflix are either making unwatchable dark films or films that are too common.Christmas Inheritance is just about watchable, and i say "just about" because it doesn't have any exciting or fun elements.

This could have been an extremely cute movie but what is wrong with the Producer and Director. Several of the snow scenes have fake snow that is like whipped cream. Absolutely ridiculous. Do you think viewers that enjoy a cute Christmas viewers don't expect things to look real?? Ridiculous!!

Takes place in a small "hick town," one with no cell reception, but that has a bustling downtown, an Apple Store, and internet. Plus it looks like most everyone has a job and can afford to shop at the stores and eat at the restaurants. The town is so thriving that it can afford to string holiday lights everywhere you might want to go, even in the forest. The characters are sadly as one dimensional as the environment in which they live and the writers missed numerous opportunities to impart more than one Christmas value. The positive value they are trying to share is that of charity towards others, but the movie also shows the value in the power of pouting and acting like a jerk to get what you want. The writers have made the male protagonist so unlikable, and the actor's stiff rendering adds to this, that the ending is superficial and hollow. The writers missed a huge opportunity to make this movie about personal transformation on many levels, and involving more than one character. But the permission they give to the male protagonist to use charity to feed his ego, to put down people who don't give what he does, and to become a three-year old when things aren't going his way, is unforgivable. On the plus side, the other actors did a good job and the storyline is sweet and timeless. Just be ready to explain to young ones that passive aggressive behavior is not a Christmas value.
