Boring
This movie was so-so. It had it's moments, but wasn't the greatest.
It's an amazing and heartbreaking story.
It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Honestly, this movie was nothing special. There is nothing that really separates it from the hundreds of other romance/tragedy movies that the Korean film industry has put out. It is easy to predict and the art direction is nothing special. In the midst of a rotten story and script, however, I think the actors did an admirable job of trying to keep the audience engaged. I think Lee Eun Ju's performance is enhanced by the fact that she has a naturally sad looking face (not ugly...she just seems to look sad all the time). The ending is predictable but after recent events regarding one of the cast members, one cannot help but still feel a genuine sadness at the end credits.
