It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.

I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.

It is encouraging that the film ends so strongly.Otherwise, it wouldn't have been a particularly memorable film

Snowy surroundings of beautiful Balochistan "Farhan Hafeez" as cinematographer simply outstanding. Land, Family, Principles can you remain loyal to all? In this era of corruption "Jami aka Jamshed Mahmood Raza" asked very valid question. Shaz Khan acted superbly, Samiya Mumtaz with short but central and effective role & last but not the least Hameed Sheikh simply marvelous. Lyrics, Acting, Direction, Story & Music all were perfect. Its a gem for Pakistan cinema & way way better as compare to highly budgeted commercial movies. I would recommend every one to watch it once. I bet you wont regret. Jami takes us on a journey to far away.. . ! - Pakistan Art Cinema

Went to watch Moor recently.. if there was a critics award in this part of the world it would definitely go to Moor in all categories . Fantastic acting by each and everyone.. Hameed Sheikh, Shaz Khan, Soniya Hussain, Ehsans business parter.. even the extra actors in the movie were so well versed with their script. Special mention to the old man who played Hameed Sheikhs house helper deserves accolades for great acting. There were a few seasoned actors in the movie with short roles but who gelled in & did justice to their respective roles .Upcoming actors/actresses should learn a thing or two from them. It's not the length of the role but the way you deliver it. Music was a treat to the ears.. courtesy Pakistan's famous 'boy band' Strings. Sound track itself and back ground music were given special attention. They didn't seem out of place anywhere. Script was crisp, story was simple but unique - an area where no one has ventured in our film industry. Cherry on top were the locations esp. In Baluchistan and how beautifully they had been shot. Never have I seen such camera shots in any Pakistani movie. Quite a few times with the long shots I felt I was watching a Hollywood movie. There is definitely hope for better and serious cinema!

****A Must Watch****"WAAR", "Na Maloom Afrad", "Dukhter" and Now "Moor". Pakistani Cinema is becoming serious business and now we've also need to take it serious. This movie reminds me of Shayam Benegal's "New or Alternate Cinema".This movie talks about deprived land, deprived people, injustice, honesty, family. On other hand it also gives insight on the decline of "Pakistan Railway" especially in Balochistan."Moor" is us....is Balochistan..... is Pakistan. And this movie shows this perspective very precisely.Nature do the full justice with Balochistan. It's diverse and beautiful, "Moor" also did justice with it too by showing diverse scenery of Balochistan. A Job Very Well Done.... Jami

Moor is a film that is simply way ahead of time. One normally gets to see such films from a mature industry once in many years. Such films are normally made without taking commercial aspects into consideration because such masterpieces are crafted for achieving way more than just money. Seeing a film of this level from an industry that is trying to revive itself was an awesome experience and it is hard to collect enough words to express the joy and satisfaction I had after watching this masterpiece from Mr. Jami & his team. Honestly no local or Bollywood stuff that I have seen so far comes even near to this... Moor is truly an emotional masterpiece... It is a film that truly represents Pakistan & the things that represent us ... family, relations & land... This film has it all ... excellent direction and cinematography, outstanding story and acting (especially by Mr. Hameed Sheikh, great music & a great depiction of the beauty of Baluchistan.. Hats off Jami & team for a film that any Pakistani would truly want to be associated with Pakistan ... Yes it had few minor flaws as well but overall it is highly recommended for those who appreciate true drama & true story & are not too much into commercial films... Again this film is not for those who want some action, some dance moves with charming item numbers and enjoy stories that are straightforward and easy to connect. This movie demands patience from its watchers and only those will enjoy who have the courage to bear the story till the end. I will not be amazed if this movie fails to earn a lot of money but at the end success of such a top class masterpiece does not deserve to be measured in terms of revenues that it generates. Moor is successful because it has communicated the message that it wanted to convey in an awesome manner and this is the Real Success of the film.
