I love this movie so much

Wow! Such a good movie.

Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.

i like true stories that end with a happy ending. really when little kids are in there and that everyone did what they could to help each other. yes bad things still happen even if people do have faith and believebut i also like this take where you don't know and cant prove that faith didn't help in it.i think its really worth watching. even if you don't agree with all of it.and this wasn't even a block buster movie either and i like that at the end they gave some real facts to. but i would like to know if they kids really saw something or not. it didn't really say.

I didn't expect anything from this movie and I turned out loving it. I see a lot of negative reviews and it seems to be based upon that it's a true story where people see miracles/angels and their faith is strengthened/validated. If that is offensive, or you think faith in God is absurd- seriously don't watch this movie. If you're not offended by that, enjoy. This is a really great movie about a near massacre that happened in 1986 and I have never heard of it. Just knowing something new in our history is interesting to me. The victims are my age and it's neat to see where they are now and to hear their testimony. If you believe the dozens of eye witness accounts of angels, it really is an incredible story. The acting was good and the story line never lulled. I highly recommend.

a good film, i really liked this films, it should help us remember a forgotten world, to our daily life is miracle,whatever we do, wherever we go, god always keeps us safe,just think, you take your kids to school everyday, by car or by public transport, you overcome so many little obstacles, you know why , because god always watches you and your family.but in modern life some are so relaxed, nobody wants to bother his minds in order to find out god,just being ignorant for all.there is no coincidence but the ordered plan of god,let god helps us to find him, and pray for everything he did and gave us be be thankful for all.Allah bless us all, Ameen

Shame on you all who have written derogatory things about these people, their religions (yes, the Catholics and Protestant kids who were have mentioned being offended that you all ignore them and focus this event on the LDS). We have a summer cabin in this area and I personally know some of these people. They're not liars. In all my reading of these reviews, I haven't read one piece of good evidence that it's NOT true. Shame on you for crapping on my friends! Focus on the film more and less on your prejudices. If IMDb lets all your prejudice be published on their site, I surely hope they will my urging for you to be kinder and less judgmental, spiteful, or hateful in your remarks, especially of the people, their religions (that is the kind of stuff that shouldn't be published), and just focus on the film, not so much to belittle others' beliefs and intentions. You don't even know these people. How could you possibly judge? Again, shame on some of you!
