Bob & Doug McKenzie's Two-Four Anniversary (2007)
In 1980, the SCTV crew had a request from their broadcaster, the CBC, for distinctively Canadian content. What players Rick Moranis and Dave Thomas created was a satire of it, but Bob and Doug became so much more. This documentary tells the special tale of how the McKenzie Brothers became a sensation that would become a cherished part of Canada's self identity.

Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.
This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.
Only true fans of Bob & Doug will enjoy this 94 minute DVD. It includes almost an hour of extras. It includes their first appearance on SCTV; their appearance on Saturday Night Live, the Junos and Hoser Parade in Toronto and rare and never-seen- footage of them. Some other features are songs "Take Off" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas", original McKenzie commercials. Q&A with Bob and Doug plus a free bottle opener! Beauty eh?. The DVD was produced by Maple & Palm Entertainment. It's funny because right after the address it says...thats in Canada eh! I swear I'm not making that up! So if you love these guys like I do; don't be a hoser, eh! go and buy it!
