Wow! Such a good movie.
It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Blistering performances.
One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
This is the way a documentary should be made! For such an iconic symbol of what America is all about, this documentary covered it all in an entertaining way. Jeans are not just an item of clothing, it is symbolic of the working man (blue collar) and the values s/he embodies in the work they do. They are the hard working men and women who wear jeans on and off the workplace, whether it is a farm, a factory, whatever. That it eventually became a fashion icon of foreign clothes designers (I loved all those old jean commercials) should tell you the durability of its place in pop history. You are never out of place if you wear jeans, although it can cost you anywhere from $5.00 when it on sale at Walmart, or hundreds and even thousands of dollars with a designer label, it remains the most recognizable symbol of the U.S. Worth catching.
