The greatest movie ever!
Beautiful, moving film.
There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
This a classic crime story about a brutal murder investigated by a nice and caring female teacher (Eva Ruttkai) because the crime had an effect on life of one of her pupils. The "False Isabella" is an extremely rare stamp and many stamp collectors would murder or die to get hold of it! The story is well done and you can re-watch the movie even if you already know who did it. This film could be rare to get nowadays (I watched the old Russian dub) but if you like good crime stories, don't miss it. Other good crime stories from the ex-communist countries are the Polish "Zbrodniarz i panna" (The Murderer and the Girl) and the Russian "Sledstvie vedut znatoki 14: Podpasok s ogurtsom" (Experts Are Investigating: Young Shepherd with a Cucumber).
