If you don't like this, we can't be friends.
All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.
This is ultimately a movie about the very bad things that can happen when we don't address our unease, when we just try to brush it off, whether that's to fit in or to preserve our self-image.
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
In this short, (40 minutes) film, Russel Hayden is a Mountie who goes to the small town of Caribou to stop the trading of Indian furs for whiskey. There he meets pretty Jennifer Holt, whose brother is one of the bad guys, and unwillingly she sends Russel to a place where they are waiting to kill him. Entertaining and fast paced.
