Really Surprised!
Excellent, a Must See
Watch something else. There are very few redeeming qualities to this film.
What can I say...? I bought the DVD, not because of the acting, but because of the soundtrack and the DJ cameos. Later, when i was watching the movie, I was impressed... The acting is really quite good and the plot is very interesting... Very sexy humor, great writing and directing...And of course, the music. The environment. Ibiza! Oh my God! Fantastic soundtrack, beautiful women... The scenario is incredible... All the major Ibiza clubs are there for you to enjoy, and maybe see them for the first time, or even choose where to go on your next vacations (nudge, nudge, wink, wink!)..."Hey DJ" is a great movie! Vibrant, funny, touching (at some point)! Buy it! See it! Do something! :)
I can't believe this movie has gotten high ratings so far. This 'movie' has essentially no plot besides some aspiring DJ sleeping with hot chicks. Looking at hot chicks is a positive (if you are a guy - check out the ratings by demographics, skewed ya?), and you get to listen to some decent music if you are into that kind of thing. You can easily duplicate the entire experience by going to a club for 2 hours though, and it is the real thing.The reason why I gave it a 2 (and not a 1) is that the 5 minutes or so of interviews was mildly entertaining and it was nice to put some faces to some of the more famous DJs around.
i was very fortunate to catch a viewing of this movie, and i must say that i was highly impressed with this movie. the acting in it is great, especially that of the relatively unknown "fysche." she really lit up the screen, and if this is an inkling of the talent she has, the silver screen better get ready for the arrival of FYSCHE!hopefully we see more of this SIREN! vive le fysche!!*starchild*
