If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

Growing up with action movies, I never really got around to watching Cynthia Rothrock for some reason. And I happened to come across this movie by sheer random luck in the local secondhand DVD store. And at $2, expectations weren't high. Now having seen this movie already, I can say that it is a very stereotypical action and martial arts movie from the early 1990's. How so? Well, the typical 'you messed with my family, now I want revenge' scenario plots. But also the forced choreography of the fights, it just doesn't have a very natural flow to the fighting. And while on the topic of fighting and martial arts, then the stuff displayed in "Undefeatable" was actually quite alright, and did take away some focus from the wooden acting. And, of course, you have your obligatory fighting sequences that are shown in slow motion. As I am not familiar with Cythia Rothrock's work in general, then I will say that she was able to perform the fight sequences quite well and with grace, but the acting was somewhat rough around the edges."Undefeatable" isn't a particular mind-boggling or riveting movie, and if you like martial arts movies then there are far better ones available from now or even back in the 1990's as well.

And now, having read through all the reviews – naturally thumbing down all those that deny the films greatness – and seeing that everything has been said, I feel I must have my say.How could I forget the first time I watched this movie with my buddies? We were laughing like imbeciles, even hours later, bouncing around the room, swinging from chandeliers while defecating against the walls. RIP, Bobby, watching the film was too much for him: his heart and brain imploding simultaneously. Mike ended his days in a lunatic asylum and Fred, well, let's just say he's still somewhere out there, hunting for female eyes. How could any of us suspected the mind-shattering experience that is "Undefeatable"? What sets director Godfrey Ho apart from the James Camerons, Stanley Kubricks or Ed Woods, is the fact that the man isn't really a director. Actually, he's a former accountant from Hong Kong, who came up with the glorious idea of buying, stealing and re-editing leftover B- and C-movies, splicing them up with footage of Europeans wearing silly ninja costumes and then selling the crap to idi… , pardon, to viewers like me. Sadly, after cheating everybody with whom he had ever worked, Godfrey has given up on directing. Instead, being the gift-that-keeps-giving that he is, he now teaches film-making at the university of Hong Kong. The second time I encountered "Undefeatable" was when I opted against "Titanic" for a romantic evening with my girlfriend. In that night, I asked her to marry me – she accepted, still a little shook up by the experience and we've been happily married since. Although, nowadays I sometimes suspect that she drinks, after having given birth to a little two-headed girl, whom we named Godfrey Ho-Marie.And now, as the warden is about to return me to my room (which I share with a giant Indian chief), I still hum to myself that old Frank Sinatra song: "Undefeatable, that's what you are … un-de-featable …." As to rating this film – I'd give it all the points in the world!

Paul, AKA "Stingray" is an abusive husband who also fights in "Death Matches". His wife Anna (he calls her "Hannah" a few times), leaves him and he goes insane. Any woman who wears a flower print dress and has black hair becomes one of his victims. He tortures and kills them, and their boyfriends.Meanwhile, Kristi Jones (Rothrock) is part of the gang the Red Dragons. She gets paid to fight other gangs. When Paul kills Kristi's sister, Kristi gets mad and is out for revenge. If you know anything about the great Godfrey Ho, you know this is completely insane. Perhaps not as much as, say, Clash of the Ninjas (1986), but hilariously deranged in its own right. The character of Paul makes a ridiculous baddie. He closely resembles Joey Buttafuoco, and he saves people's eyeballs in his fish tank. He tortures people and kickboxes at the same time. He screams "I will find you!" and spray paints his hair red to look more devilish. He yells fan favorite yell, "Nooooooo!!!!" The other villains are incredibly funny. One looks like Eddie Murphy, "Bear" dresses in a football outfit and does somersaults. When Bear (not the same Bear from Maximum Force (1992)) loses his match with Kristi, his girlfriend sighs, "Oh, Bear!" The last line of the movie is as nonsensical and hilarious as the rest of it. We won't give it away, but suffice it to say, enrollment in college is involved."Undefeatable" is silly fun at its finest. Godfrey Ho can shoot action as well as concoct an absurd storyline. It is filled with so many funny lines, we can't list them all here. This film can be enjoyed by anyone, and if you already like Rothrock it only sweetens the deal. For more insanity, please visit: comeuppancereviews.com

Cynthia Rothrock is hot, and kicks major ass. That blunt and simple statement doesn't quite clear the way for this D-grade action film.We are talking USA Up-All Night garbage with an extra splash of violence and skin. Speaking of...we glimpse more male skin than female, which hints at a possible homo-eroticism on the director's part. Despite the eye-gouging hook finale, and Cynthia's solid moves, I still can't give this brainless film more than 1 star. For action heads, otherwise beware. The frantic nature and pace of the editing gave me recollections of Umberto Lenzi's or Nicos Mastorakis' style. This may be looking too deeply into a mud puddle, but what can I say? Certainly not a whole hell of allot more. My advice: netflix Enter the Dragon and watch something memorable.
