It's hard to see any effort in the film. There's no comedy to speak of, no real drama and, worst of all.
It isn't all that great, actually. Really cheesy and very predicable of how certain scenes are gonna turn play out. However, I guess that's the charm of it all, because I would consider this one of my guilty pleasures.
I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Mr. Chibbs is not to be missed. What are you waiting for folks? Director Jill Campbell and Executive Producer Barry Greenstein have created something so special about a true New York City basketball legend. A true inspiration. Kenny "Mr. Chibbs" Anderson. You will leave the theater having learned, laughed and truly touched.
