There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

If this really is based on a true story, then I feel sorry for the parents of the victims that this film was ever made.So i'm ignoring the fact that it could be 'fact' and will review it as a film. The plot is basically this, a group of high-school outsiders get fed up of being bullied by your atypical bullies who throw milk at them, spit in their books, etc. They devise an elaborate plan from their joint love of horror films to teach all of their antagonists a lesson. So they all dress up as their favourite horror characters (none of which I can recall), and invite them all to a costume party.once the party starts, the outsiders party really gets started.....For a low budget horror film, it's really well made, with good performances from the initial victims, and with many nods to other horror films, Audition in particular, and hints of Rob Zombie in the third act.But the other victims are just so one dimensional, you couldn't really care what happens to them. At the beginning of the siege, the hostages are all arrogant toward the victims, and bearing in mind this is supposedly based on a true story, it just doesn't fit well if you put yourself in that situation. But there are plenty of red herrings to keep you guessing, and one remarkable element to the film, which makes it all the more sinister, is that it has an element of Van Sant's 'Elephant' to it.It's a solid enough horror movie, never outstaying it's welcome, but like I said at the top, if it really was based on a true story, it was done in bad taste.

An After Dark Horrorfest film worth watching. Hope you like them gruesome. THE FINAL has an unpopular high school teen Dane(Marc Donato)fed up with the years of being pushed and shoved around. He convinces Emily(Lindsay Seidel)and a group of other students that have reached that point to finally seek revenge on the so-called "cool" kids that have spent years humiliating them. A wild party is created for invitees only. It ends up with all the bullies ready to "party down" with no limitations. Thanks for the memories guys and gals. The group of outcasts are in disguise as the others, but they are not the ones in chains; and they are wielding weapons. The meek have summoned courage and are ready to carry out their plan of maiming and torture to make up for the years of torment. The bullies are now getting bullied. The gruesome means of torture have been learned in history class and watching horror flicks. See who is crying now! Not for the faint of heart. This is a bunch of sadistic teens getting their revenge. Even I had to turn my head a couple of times...its just that horribly good! The cast also features: Justin Arnold, Jascha Washinton, Travis Tedford, Laura Ashley Samuels, Eric Isenhower and Ravi Silochan.

I seen this movie when it was released and thought it had a great scheme to the plot. I searched for and began to watch this movie again. The plot itself is interesting in that i cannot think of one that resembles its ideas and extent. The movie was enjoyable for me, i liked the idea and the arousal of a young group of psychotic individuals getting even, plotting out their dark twisted fantasy.Although the movie was fun, i think it could have been scripted better. I say this as some of the lines in the movie seemed too expected, too inevitable, "ah yes, i knew he was going to say that or something like it". There isn't very much shock factor from this movie. With a bigger budget and some more emotional disturbed components to the acting, this movie could have been great. Although it isn't an edgy movie that will keep you hiding under your bed sheets, the movie didn't need it. Nonetheless a movie i would enjoy to see again.

Surprisingly, when I heard torture, disfigurement, I thought "Gee, Hostel, teenager style!!". However, the movie turns out to be a much milder version of Hostel, which is probably why I didn't find it in the least horrific. I was actually cheering for our antagonists (hmm... is that the right usage here...) and disappointed that they didn't get to them all. Yes, it sounds very harsh, but bullies gotta know that if you push someone too far, it just might come back and bite you in the ass.So, that being said, I liked it. The young actors played their roles well. I especially liked Emily, played by Lindsay Seidel. Cool and calm (well except during the mishap with Ravi) she played up her torture scenes well. And of course there was the banjo.Cheers
