SERIOUSLY. This is what the crap Hollywood still puts out?

All that we are seeing on the screen is happening with real people, real action sequences in the background, forcing the eye to watch as if we were there.

The tone of this movie is interesting -- the stakes are both dramatic and high, but it's balanced with a lot of fun, tongue and cheek dialogue.

Worth seeing just to witness how winsome it is.

If you took away the stock footage and the slow motion and the long narration at the end of the film, there might be a film lasting 45 minutes. And if you took away the annoyingly confusing editing there might be a film lasting half an hour. And if you took away the poor acting you are left with...probably the opening and end credits. It doesn't seem like a film more a child playing with a digital camera. A team of Seals are dropped into Iraq to identify targets for bombing then on the way back encounter lots of trouble. Which could be exciting but it only irritates. Apart from the Master Chief who is given an endless back story the other Seals are difficult to tell apart. The music drones on with heavenly choruses that don't succeed in giving any emotional weight to proceedings. A struggle to get through.

I'm sorry for poor englis. I do believe truck driving was good. No bump. I even drive truck while in back. And translate kid. Haha I had no idea what he saying "i'm sorry"? I just come up with that crap. I think he said "why you shoot me?". But I was sad. I was two steps away from kid. And he shoot him????.I was so disappoint. MasterChief is asshole. And before I was being beat up and he do nothing. he wait 30 minute for me throw up until shoot. Seal Team six in more like Seal Team Dumbass. I traded my goat for this? I liked my goat. he was very nice. he was in back of truck but master chief raped him. I was very sad. good thing he die. I throw party on aircraft carrier when he die. RIP Master chief I will rape Kassandra. how you say HOORAH

. . . should drop to bended knees with their collective faces in the dirt and BEG Seal Team VI for forgiveness. IT. IS. THAT. BAD.The story (and I take literary license for calling it a story) is somehow connected to Operation Desert Shield, although the connection is tenuous at best. Basically, it's drop behind enemy lines (by HALO jump from a C-130 AFTER going aloft in a helo?) shoot at Islamists, get shot at by Islamists, and use a jumpy camera to give that "intensity of action" effect.Nevermind that the uniforms are wrong, the weapons are wrong, and the air support comes from stock footage rather than real aircraft. Then, there's the 10 minute "patriotic sermon" at the end. I haven't heard a diatribe like that since the third "Billy Jack" movie. The same guy was director, writer, producer, sound department, editorial department and underwater cameraman. He has only one credit on IMDb. This film shows why.If this is the only thing on TV, go sort your sock drawer. It will be infinitely more satisfying.

I almost never shaft a feature movie with a rating of just 1 out of 10, but it is hard to see how anyone who has seen nine or more movies in their lifetimes could find it in their heart to give SEAL TEAM VI anything higher than that. The alternate universe in which this flick unwittingly takes place is somewhere sane people would not want to visit, let alone live there. In SEAL TEAM VI's fake realm, mid-level U.S. military officers can jab their forefingers into the chests of U.S. Senate intelligence committee chairmen with no fear of rebuke. On the other hand, this sort of senator may exercise real-time "live" supervision of covert combat operations on the other side of the world, with his two cents worth put on an equal footing with that of the ground commander.Unfortunately, for viewers of SEAL TEAM VI, it is never clear exactly what their mission to Iraq in the 1990s is. Perhaps they are time-traveling, with the objective of planting weapons of mass destruction to turn up a decade later, in order to vindicate the administration of Bush Junior. Perhaps they are lost, as their insertion in-country via ocean plunge is one of the 85 dumbest things about this film.At any rate, the plot is totally ludicrous. The main character manages to kill any children that come within a mile of him, and all the dying kids have the same last words. This same character comes back in the flesh for curtain calls, like some sort of militaristic Jesus. Since the acting and dialogue are unrealistic, and the special effects are worse, it's little wonder that the title was shortened to just SEAL TEAM for the DVD release (lessening the similarity to the infamous LEONARD: PART SIX).
