Each character in this movie — down to the smallest one — is an individual rather than a type, prone to spontaneous changes of mood and sometimes amusing outbursts of pettiness or ill humor.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

It's a good bad... and worth a popcorn matinée. While it's easy to lament what could have been...

When it comes to horror movies (be they low-budget, or not), Scary Or Die (SOD, for short) was just plain dull & dumb! (And, it certainly wasn't in the least bit scary. No... But, gory? Yes!... But, not scary!? - Ha! Don't make me laugh) And, speaking about having any potential racial barriers, SOD appeared to have none.... OK! Let's see - In the city of Los Angeles there were both Black & Mexican blood-lusting zombies - There were dead-faced Chinese ghosts and blood-thirsty Oriental vampires - There were re-animated Caucasians (as pieced together corpses) - And, last but not least, there were Black psycho-clowns with infectious bites. (And, I still don't understand why the hell Emmett didn't go to a doctor after he'd been bitten) I found SOD to be the sort of typical, brain-dead slop from the horror movie genre that comes across like its stories were all made up as they went along (which they probably were), and that goes double for all of its dimwitted dialogue. If you ask me, when it comes to the likes of these horror story anthologies, SOD made 1982's Creepshow look worthy of an Oscar comparison. It really did! Yes. Indeed. SOD was a total dud from start to finish. If this is supposed to be the direction in which horror movies are going, then all I can say is "#%&@#!!", or, better yet "Zzzzzzzz!" P.S. - SOD also lost itself some major points for its blatant product placement of "Marlboro" cigarettes.

Black humor, ironic twists and surprises are found in this horror. First story. A rebel couple with their friend who scare those around them and kill other peoples who are from another nation than their's, are witness of something only in zombie movies we met when they go to the desert to shoot and bury two of the victims. The second story. A widower is haunted by the ghost of his wife and one evening sitting on a bench when he sees a group of girls and one of them resembles his wife. This is kidnapped and forcibly plugged into the car and he try to help her but fails. Taejung manages to put his phone in the fuel tank and using the laptop follows the car and he is led to the place where the young woman is about to be murdered but in the last-minute he saves her managing to stop the attacker. She wants to thank him and says she'll give a little party next week and you really need to come too. He has some small doubts but finally made an appearance at her residence. Now the roles were reversed for the young who seem helpless is something else than he could have imagined and now Taejung is the one who needs help. Third story. A killer carry in the trunk his recent victim gets some bangs which normally should not hear them because the body is cut into several pieces. Lose control of the car for a few seconds and a cop stops him. He hears sound from behind and asks man to open the trunk. The killer panics and takes the gun from the glove box, but the cop comes back and says he is free to leave. It's surprised and he stops the car a few hundred meters away and finds that in the trunk the victim is no longer there and instead founds a note. Now the killer has the same fate. Fourth story. This is the longest and is about a young man who is bitten by a clown and with time changes begin to occur. His clothes remain small shoes are no longer good and slowly begins to turn into a bad clown. He leaves home for fear that his girlfriend will see him along with his mother and son. Now sleeps like a bum under a bridge and his child has a dream that becomes reality. So one night it taken somewhere for a little picnic but after the clown is unmasked gives notice that it is not his father but he appears and saves him. Fifth story. The shortest is about a man who cheated on his girlfriend, and then kill her. She returns from the dead to avenge him and his infidelity. Many would classify this film as a weak but let's give him a chance. What I liked about it is that had that dose of curiosity who makes you wonder what will happen next and makes you eager to find out and all in a very short story.

Harks back to the days of the Horror anthologies such as Tales from the Crypt and Tales from the dark side. The stories twists are rather predictable, in keeping with the anthologies of old, pretty shallow, lacking in substance and explanation. There are one or two moments that make you wince slightly, but that's it, without them this would be the stuff TV Horror is made of.Initially I thought it was a collection of short films strung together, until the cast started crossing over from one story to the next.Watchable, but not worth dedicating your movie night to. To be fair, if you are looking for a scare, I'd look elsewhere.

I generally love horror anthologies but this one is rarely worth your time. Only one of the five segments deserves mention, the longest one, Clowned. The other four, while not really terrible given the films very low budget, doesn't really stand out and are almost never scary or original.Usually, these types of films comes with a wrap-around sequence which makes the whole mess coherent, but this one opted not to give us that satisfaction.I'll still watch any horror anthology I can get my hands on, because if one of the segments aren't satisfying, it's pretty fast on to the next one. Same goes here, where, besides aforementioned Clowned, no segment is longer than 15 minutes. And I'm glad they weren't.
