I cannot think of one single thing that I would change about this film. The acting is incomparable, the directing deft, and the writing poignantly brilliant.
Tells a fascinating and unsettling true story, and does so well, without pretending to have all the answers.
Blending excellent reporting and strong storytelling, this is a disturbing film truly stranger than fiction
There are moments that feel comical, some horrific, and some downright inspiring but the tonal shifts hardly matter as the end results come to a film that's perfect for this time.
I have seen this movie probably over 20 times and each time I enjoy it as much as the last. This is a must see for anyone who enjoys the slopes or even more so for those like me who grew up on the mountain in a small ski town. Every time I watch this movie not only do I laugh throughout the movie but I consider quiting my job and moving home to become a ski bum, one winter working ski school after college was not enough.I hope all of you that have come across this movie will give it a chance despite the lack of modern production value and will see it for what it really is, the blue print for a true utopian society. Just be prepaired, after you watch this movie you better hope that winter is just around the corner because you will have the itch.
The opening music is crazy. It makes you think you are about to watch some roman fight movie.Dave is invited to his former girlfriend's wedding and it is his duty to make sure it doesn't happen since her fiancé has plans to take over the resort once they're married.Very complicated plot, no? No.Endless minutes are spent with snowboard scenes and horrible music overlaid on the scenes. There's nothing you haven't seen before in this film. It's rude crude and dumb. But it is sort of watchable.
The movie was not that bad, but it also was not that good either. It had its funny moments, but then again, it also had some parts where the sense-of-humor had me wincing in pain. Only one thing remained consistant throughout the entire film... the size of Dean Camroon's eyebrows!!! WOW!! Did you see how big they were? He should definatly do something about that. I heard a small child was lost in those things for two days!! Anyway, this is only a mediocare movie... so see it at your own risk. If you chose to see it, remember, BEWARE OF THE EYEBROWS!!!
This movie was extremely hilarious. I think it was a lot funnier than the first one. In this one Dave Marshack has lost his job, girlfriend, and was kicked off the mountain. He know he has to try and get them back before his ex-girlfriend, Beth marries "Heinrich Von Schmuck".The funniest part of the movie is the four main guys. Dave(who is played hilariously by Cameron), Alex(the sex machine), Tomcat(Mad TV's Will Sasso), and Todderbert(the funniest character in the movie. Listen to how he got his name).By the way, there's also a lot of naked girls in it too, another good reason to see it. Pretty funny for a straight-to-video comedy. 10/10(Believe it or not)
