Dreadfully Boring
It's fun, it's light, [but] it has a hard time when its tries to get heavy.
I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
I think this is a new genre that they're all sort of working their way through it and haven't got all the kinks worked out yet but it's a genre that works for me.
Wasted opportunity after wasted opportunity marks this bad omen of a film. Do not see it. There's no humor here, nor any kind of freshness around. It's stale, there's no romance, an antique view of women, and sloppy direction. All from the script to the plot is vapid and heinous. There are no redeeming features, possibly bar Suzanne Reuter's vacant acting. The jokes are lame, the scenes are placid...there's just nothing of value here.
Visiting Sweden Christmas time, I decided to go to the movies and watch something with a comic touch. Browsing a lot of different films I found out that 'Micke & Veronica' was the only film which wasn't fully booked, so I decided to go and watch it. Five minutes in, there has been no presentation of any characters at all, already a number of awkward jokes and nothing seems to make sense. Sitting there at the cinema hoping to get a change eventually, but it stayed that way through the whole movie as well. Every joke is rather awkward and no one in the cinema is laughing at all. There is no character-development at all through the entire movie. It feels like you must have seen ALL other films that lead actor David Hellenius has been casted in, in order to understand the humor, which is not a nice kind of humor in any way. Hence, I give Micke & Veronica(2014) 1 out of 10.
