Emma Norman spends a wild Spring break holiday on Mintners Cove beach, California, with her female friends, Lori, who seeks a new fling and academic Stefanie. There, slick stud Greg Vlasi gives them a good time and shoots video of them on beach and yacht (possibly drugged and/or drunk). The video is doctored and released onto the internet as porn distributed by Nick Bronson in LA. Soon Emma's promising career as Minneapolis school teacher is over. Her fireman fiancé David in home small-town Prairie dumps her, even her dad's firm gets boycotted.

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

The movie raises good questions. With the level of technology we have today and the number of fake sex tapes out there, can anyone be blamed if one pops up? Does anyone have a right to add anything to what you permitted them to film? Do they even ask permission to film? And what is your recourse if a tape actually damages YOUR reputation? I agree Emma made some stupid choices, but she should have been able to get protection from the law. Not from boob flashing, no, but from a non-permitted taping of this being turned into a hardcore XXX. To all who intend to blame Emma, imagine someone drugging your daughter and doing the same to her. How would you react? If mine said she'd never done it and proved it to me like Emma, I would be this close to finding the bastard who made it and taking him out when it's dark and no one can see. Say you interview for a job where reputation is important. Someone could film you walking at the beach and erase swimwear, then YouTube the video and send a link to your interviewer saying you are a devoted nudist, which may be viewed as improper. By the time you sort things out, position is filled, time is lost. Is it fair? Think before you blame Emma saying "she had it coming". What's a girl to do these days, not come out the door for fear that she might get her reputation damaged the way I just described and it's her fault no matter what? This, however, is where the good stuff ends. The story falls flat at the end. What could be easier than setting up a microphone in that bra and taping the distributor, the tape maker and his rape threats. Note: This is admissible evidence without warning the other side because it is a criminal matter. If I were serious about getting these people I would have used every trick to get them, microphones, tiny camera in a purse, whatever. My sympathy for Emma ended where a seemingly intelligent girl (and her family) became completely stupid and did zero to gather any evidence, even though they easily could. The end was frustrating and lame.To sum up, this movie did not impress me. Good start, coughed and died.

Watching Reckless Behavior: Caught On Tape the only thing I was thinking is that here's two hours I'll never get back. I stuck with it so I could write this review and warn others to beware.Odette Yustman plays a bright young grade school teacher in a small town enthusiastic about her job and eagerly awaiting marriage to a local guy. When spring break comes this small town girl from the mid-west goes to San Diego where she and friends meet up with Antonio Sabato, Jr. and his friends. A little drinking, a little encouragement and she has her spring fling. But that's hardly the end of it. Odette winds up on a porn tape making the rounds of the internet and the old scarlet letter gets pinned on her. The rest of the film is spent on her search for justice and vindication. If you're that interested to see if she gets it you could watch the film. Frankly, I wouldn't bother again, not even for Antonio Sabato, Jr. who's still quite the sex symbol. The ending is mind bogglingly stupid to say the least. It's an awful story with wooden performances by players who really couldn't create any believability. Given the script that would have been hard for Larry Olivier.

When my husband makes fun of my Lifetime movie addiction, most of the time I laugh off his comments. But his mocking comments on this movie were right on target: it was really awful. I thought the plot had promise: the dangers of going wild on Spring Break trips, and how what seems fun while you're drunk can seem trashy and tawdry the next day. But instead we got a really clichéd story of a woman/girl who made some really terrible choices, then, beyond all odds, got her "revenge" in the last five minutes of the movie. What a waste of two hours. Bad acting and even worse writing, and I hated the voice-over lecture at the end. I completely agree with Kimberly's review (above), so read her review on why you should steer clear of this piece of junk.

***Contains some spoilers. Don't worry, this movie sucked, so go on and read. Under no circumstances should you actually watch this movie.Yes, I watched the whole thing. I knew better, but did it anyway. I have a hard time not finishing what I've started. Well, if you're reading this, hopefully you haven't made the same mistake I have. How stupid was Emma? For an adult, she had some horrible judgment. Going on Spring Break and having some fun is fine, but come on! Learn some common sense. Never take drinks from strangers! What an idiot. She knew they were filming her! They never hid the camera. It was professional equipment, not some camera-phone. She was soooo stupid not to expect to land on the internet. No, she never could have expected to be in a porno, but for God's sake, she took off her top with the cameras right there! When she got back, she kept saying she didn't do anything. Well taking off your top and faking an orgasm is something. Doing that on film is enough to get a teacher suspended/fired, I'm sure (not that I agree with that, personal life should stay personal, that's just the way it is). Also, it was really... low budget and... hypocritical of them not to show more of the actual film. They showed everything else, including a steamy sex scene between Emma and her boyfriend/fiancé. They were just trying to avoid having to show how her head could possibly be juxtaposed on another woman's body believably. Plus, if it was another woman's body, there would be no point in drugging her and filming her while she slept. If it's that easy to take the footage of her head and attach it to someone, that extra step wouldn't be necessary. The rest of this movie was just garbage. The ending sucked and made no sense. Her little narration at the end was so cliché. I'm not saying she brought it on herself, but she has to take some responsibility for her actions. I'm really ashamed Lifetime put this movie on. It doesn't send a good message for women. It's just a lecture disguised as a movie... a terrible movie. Ugh, I'm just disgusted with it. Avoid at all costs.
