The film's masterful storytelling did its job. The message was clear. No need to overdo.

There's a more than satisfactory amount of boom-boom in the movie's trim running time.

This movie remarks a very distinguished feature about the true relation between couples in Islam. Many people believe that marriage MUST be based on love which is absolutely not true. The main characteristics couples must depend on are the ones that were clearly shown in the movie: Understanding, mercy, affection, and compassion. As shown in the movie theses figures brought live in the end SOFTLY and remarkably. I hope they continue releasing such decent movies that count more on the feelings, words and actions rather than sex and indecent scenes. The rest of this series is also decent. I wonder why many people especially in the west wonder about Muslim women wearing veils and long wide clothes where as they themselves wore it for centuries.

I don't read books much so I didn't know this movie was even a series let alone a book first. With that said, I watched the first of the series today, Love Comes Softly. After I watched the movie I sat and cried for about 10 minutes. Then I began to make dinner not realizing there was a part 2 which I thought was part 2. I was leaving so I hurried around and recorded the movie. When I got back from town I noticed there was yet another one coming on after the 2nd one was over. I was so overwhelmed I started watching it from there. I quickly got on line and found out that there are 6 parts to this series. This is the BEST series I've seen in forever and now I'm ready to go out and buy the books. Let me tell you the movie is addicting!!! I give it a full 10 and a must see!!!

I have seen this movie as well Loves Enduring Promise and Loves Long Journey. I have also read the whole series by Jannet Oke. Love Come Softly was wonderful and I really enjoyed it, but Loves Long Journey was completely changed. I was very disappointed and I am concerned how it is going to connect with the rest of the story because the movie changed it . I just wanted to bring this to your attention. I was very happy with Love Comes Softly, but the movies that followed were a great disappointment to me. I wonder how the story is going to continue with everything changing. I hope that the movies that follow will contain more of what really happened in the book.

This is a very sweet and thoughtful movie. It addressed some difficult life issues and showed that we have hope no matter what we face. It was great getting to know the characters and relating to their fears and needs. Dale Midkiff did a great job at his part. He's so handsome and tender. Katherine Heigl isn't the best actress, but she pulled it off pretty good. In the end you feel like she basically got the hang of it and you love her anyways. The setting is realistic and comfortable. I liked how the story speaks to and about everyday people that we can relate to. They weren't rich or unusual in anyway. They were just courageous and fought hard under trying times. Very touching story! Very worth watching. It warmed my heart and reminded me of the hope I have for eternity.
