Just so...so bad
i must have seen a different film!!
Brilliant and touching
A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
Even though "Girl Fever" (other title "100 women") is a fantasy piece at best, the way it's done is so idiotic beyond even the most cliché rubbish ever done in cinema. In one aspect of the movie we see the politically correct, totally unrealistic fantasy set-up: an American art student has some hot looking trophy chyck fall out of the sky and be all over him. We are supposed to believe this could ever happen? Unless you're an art student who happens to be a rich and famous rock star or movie industry mogul, or coke dealer I suppose. Also, we see the main character treated like crap by a bunch of women to see if he is *worthy*. The kind of men-are-not-worthy-of-women for some reason goes unnoticed in America. With the exception of the various nemesis in the story, everyone is so nice and so genuine it's just too sickening. So unrealistic. This flick is for those who really want like to see men played for suckers by skanks.
the WORST movie ever made. One might ask why anyone ever thought about making a follow up to 100 Girls in the first place. After that, one might wonder how on earth anyone every financially backed it. And finally, one might wonder how anyone could ever sit through this movie without thinking what I did. And that is, "After sitting through this movie, the only one who may never smile again is ME." To anyone who actually likes this movie, I have one question. What was the point? I honestly can't think of one single scene, or joke that made me even remotely laugh. This movie was so bad that it makes me mad that such an untalented writer could ever get a greenlight on this project while people with actual senses of humor cannot.
This is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. The story is moronic, the actors are horrible, I don't see anything rewarding in it other than Erin Bartlett's casabas. The way the 2 leads throw around the LOVE word toward the end makes my stomach turn. Was this movie actually written by a 15 year old?Hopefully the 18 year old girls this movie is aimed at are too busy to watch it...its PATHETIC!I'm sorry I couldn't give it less than a 1, because that is overrating it considerably.
I loved the first Michael Davis movie, Eight Days a Week. It was charming and cute. The second one was mostly a rehash of the first but pretty good. This one though is truly awful. The movie tries really hard, all Michael Davis movies do, but the level of humor for the most part is really crass and hackneyed. What was cute and clever in the first two is now bland and bitter.I wanted to at least like this movie, but there is so much here that is truly awful and/or stupid. I could go on, but I won't.Check out Eight Days a Week and 100 Girls. Avoid this clunker.
