I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

When a world ending three headed monster by the name of Ghidorah arrives on earth chaos ensues!Godzilla, Rodan & Mothra are all on the scene but fighting one another. Can Mothra and the martians convince them to work together to fight this seemingly unstoppable force? So once again we have the grade A cheese, men in monster suits, stop motion animation, ridiculous fight scenes and terrible acting. And yet somehow/someway this is actually the best Toho film I've seen.It suffers with all the usual tropes and arguably the plot is even worse than usual but it works and makes for a fun monster epic. The Godzilla films are certainly niche and not for everyone but this is a fun little effort. The Good:By this point it's actually starting to feel like a franchiseBuilds up to a solid climaxThe Bad:Opening is really daftSome of the outfits are embarassingly badPlot is a tad confuddledGodzilla moves like a teletubbyFranchise is getting goofyThings I Learnt From This Movie:The mini martian ladies are growing on meMid battle giant monsters often enjoy games of catch with boulders

Sequel to both "Mothra Vs. Godzilla" & "Rodan" sees the debut of Ghidorah, a three-headed monster from outer space bent on the destruction of the Earth. All that stands in its way are Godzilla and Rodan, who have both re-awakened nearby. Can Mothra(with the help of the "Twin Fairies") persuade Godzilla & Rodan to stop fighting, and unite to defeat this common enemy, before all is lost? Convoluted but entertaining film with lots of action was the first to portray Godzilla at all sympathetically, though he wouldn't become the Earth's protector just yet. Nice to see Rodan back too, though Ghidorah would return as well in next entry.

Ghidorah: The Three-Headed Monster was a turning point in the Godzilla series. This is where the monster rumble was born. Godzilla, Mothra (in larvae form), and Rodan team up to battle a new monster named Ghidrah (or Ghidorah in the Japanese version). Ghidorah is an impressive beast - a colossal 3-headed dragon that spits yellow gravity beams. This is Rodan's first appearance since 1956. Unfortunately, the design of the suit was changed to look less menacing. This is when the series begins to gear towards children. Godzilla becomes a reluctant hero. In a rare instance of continuity in the series, Mothra vs. Godzilla is referenced. Invasion of the Astro-Monster (or Monster Zero) followed a year later and these 3 films really form a trilogy. The DVD includes both the Japanese and American versions of Ghidorah. The Japanese versions runs about 93 minutes and the English dubbed version runs about 85. This was the last Godzilla film to be extensively altered when brought to America. Both versions have their positives. Also included is an Image Gallery and Slide Show of movie posters, an Eiji Tsuburaya biography, and the original Japanese trailer.

...into a mediator! Mothra has many talents, including the ability to be a monster counselor. I love it!I've been watching all the Godzilla movies sequentially, and this one was surprisingly enjoyable and well done. The human characters are likable and actually have brains. The story is well-written and has a lot of elements in it that help keep your interest. For example, the parts where there are no monsters fighting are interesting. Usually, the human interaction parts are boring. Plus, we get to see FOUR monsters in this one - AWESOME! And last, but not least - The Peanuts. Any movie with the Peanuts has to be good (well, maybe...) And, I love the woman playing the princess/Venusian. She is drop-dead gorgeous. Her face is so beautiful. The story-line concerning her adds much to the film. All of my comments are about the original Japanese version with English sub-titles. This is a very solid movie and can be enjoyed by people that might not love monster movies. If you love monster movies, you'll be in monster heaven...
