Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.

If you're interested in the topic at hand, you should just watch it and judge yourself because the reviews have gone very biased by people that didn't even watch it and just hate (or love) the creator. I liked it, it was well written, narrated, and directed and it was about a topic that interests me.

Compared to the previous works of the Manivannan-sathyaraj duo this films leaves a lot to be desired but still quite enjoyable in patches. the dialogues by itself could've been released separately as an audio track. The main drawback is the script as the character of sathyaraj is made so powerful but there is no one to take him on which leaves a sour taste as sathyaraj scores one side goals throughout the movie all though there is a twist in the climax it was too late! The chemistry between manivannan and sathyaraj on screen should be seen to be believed, accompanied by astute dialogues this political had greater potential to be a landmark movie in the lines of it's predecessor Amaidhi Padai but the weak characterization of the support cast and an average script foiled a potential classic. Watch for the witty dialogues and the magnetism exuded by the "Villain" Sathyaraj!
