Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

While watching the movie Trade I found that the characters really mixed together like Jorge and Ray when they had a common goal even though Jorge (cesar Ramos) didn't know what ray (kevin Kline) was looking for until later on in in the story but throughout the movie the emotions of love like Jorge showed for his sister when he start looking for her and the bond of friendship Jorge and ray found after they figured out there coming interests as the movie progresses the pieces fall into play for Jorge to find his sister but the hit a few problems along the way the horrific topic this movie shows about how women and children are abducted and treated is a really eye opener for the real world problem with sex trafficking and slavery that is spread through the black market most people do not see this part of like it is overlooked but this movie shows the reality of the problem that slavery has not yet ended but in the movie it doesn't seem like the government is doing anything about it which is the same in our world today the trade is a very serious thing but the world doesn't want anything to do with it because the fact it makes to much money but this movie shows this idea in different aspects of what happens to the girls but this movie with all the problems it shows of the really world it will keep you watching until the credits come on

Trade is the type of movie that opens your eyes to stuff that's happening around the world today that not many people are aware of, sex trafficking of women and children. This movie was very eye opening, interesting, and intriguing. In the movie it allows us to see what the women and children go through who are forced into sex trafficking, and how easy it is for them to be taken. The movie is based on sex trafficking and the struggles the women, kids, and family of those involved go through. Jorge (Cesar Ramos) was trying to find his sister, Adriana (Paulina Gaitan) who was taken by the Russian sex traffickers in Mexico City. He and Ray (Kevin Klein), an insurance investigator, do what they can to hunt down Adriana and find her. Adriana is forced to do things normal 13 year old's should never experience, but she has Veronica (Alicja Bachleda) alongside her through most of this. This movie is very informative about what goes on in the sex trafficking world in a way that is still interesting. I was surprised with how graphic Trade was, showing the physical, mental, and emotional abuse that everyone involved goes through. I was shocked that these things still go on in this world today, and this movie allowed me to see it. The thing that caught my eye in Trade that caused me to not want to pull my eye away was the action stored within the movie. Starting out, when Adriana rode the bike that her big brother, Jorge, got her regardless of her mother's commands didn't surprise me at all, children will be children. What shocked me was how far away from her home that she rode it. I knew in that instant something horrible was going to happen to her and I couldn't leave the screen. From then on the movie got better and better, drawing me in each time something suspenseful happened. The next thing that drew me in was when Adriana was taken. the fact that the women who were helping her find a job were in on what was about to happened absolutely blew my mind. I liked how much Trade showed, allowing me to see the inside look on both the traffickers' side and the sex slaves' side without it being a documentary. The things I didn't like were when Veronica committed suicide- without explaining her story any further. We didn't get to know much about her- or her baby. It would've been nice to had gotten to know about her a lot more. I also didn't like the fact that at the end of the movie even after Jorge promised to Ray he would do good he just walked up to Vadim (Pasha D. Lychnikoff) and killed him, as his son watched. I feel like Jorge should've let the cops handle it. Lastly, I feel like the movie would've had a better conclusion had we figured out who Ray's daughter was.Overall Trade was an amazing movie, that I would rate a 10 star movie and suggest to anyone interested in crime based movies.

Trade - Secrets Behind Closed DoorsThe movie Trade was nothing less than eye-opening to all viewers. It touches levels many people may not even think to go to by focusing on the topic of human trafficking. During the movie, it puts you in the eyes of not only the victims, but the traders. You experience their feelings throughout their "trade". That makes the movie great. You get sucked into feeling for each character in so many ways. As you watch the character Adriana (Paulina Gaita), you hurt for her as you watch her suffer and long for her family and brother, Jorge. Jorge (Cesar Ramos) has so much love for his sister you root for his bravery and eagerness. He is so determined to find his sister, he takes every measure possible to retrieve her. You even find yourself enjoying his witty, sarcastic personality that brings a little light into the action of the film knowing the horror in the topic the entire movie surrounds itself around. One of the reasons this movie caught so much of my attention was the way it constantly had you predicting and making accusations on what was going to happen next. Ray (Kevin Kline), the Texas cop who agrees to help Jorge, reveals to Jorge about his own daughter being sold to human trafficking as well. Questions storm though, "Will he find her? "Is that her?" "What happened to her?" The movie all comes together by how they all meet and become involved. Adriana meeting Veronica (Alicia Bachleda-Curu), the polish girl tricked into the same slave sex trade. It's like she's out there to protect Adriana, and she does. Jorge meeting Ray, a Texas cop who understands the trade and knows what it feels like to lose someone to that. Even though the movie is so powerful to the audience, it has its own downfalls. There are many parts during the film that are very hard to watch. Being so graphic, I understand why the movie is rated R. Oftentimes the movie shows the victims being beaten, raped, drugged, etc. I do believe that there could be many ways to portray the scenes without it being so graphic. Overall, I do consider this movie a great one. Its takes special people to have the courage to share to the world the secrets of trading behind closed doors.

How can u Trade something like this? We watched Trade in my English class during our human trafficking unit, and I felt that Trade was a great movie all around. This movie was inspirational, and meaningful. I normally don't get into this type of movie, but Trade had me involved the whole time, certain scenes made me feel like I was actually there, living the movie with them. This movie brought out the truth, that some people here in our country are demented and cruel. ****spoiler alert**** . Russians take two Polish women from a airport, where they were supposed to meet the Americans so they could help the women get jobs to send money back home to their families. When the women get near the van, the first woman suspects something is wrong, she takes off running, but the Russians catch the second girl and put her in the van, and take her away. They never let her see her family again, they keep her captive. What they did was they used her to make money by making her sleep with a bunch of different men on a daily basis.****End Spoiler****How could someone born and raised in this free country, kidnap and sell someone for sex?? I just don't get it, but this movie describes perfectly what actually happens right behind our backs today in this land that we all call ¨The Land Of The Free¨. We all say that nothing bad happens in our country, but this movie reveals what's really happening. Trade reveals details, that most Americans don't have a clue about. This movie is one of the best realistic movies that I have seen. This movie is not meant to entertain someone, it's meant to inform the Americans who have no clue this is happening, so maybe now that we know maybe we can help put a stop to this trafficking. Trade helped me understand what's really happening out there in this world. I didn't think that this could happen in my country. This movie inspired me to speak up and try to put a stop to this horrid act. In the movie there is a young Hispanic boy named Jorge, he is a very inspirational character. He has a caring heart, and never gives up. We need more people like him in this country. Jorge went through hell trying to find someone. He drove chasing after a truck, he also ran after the same truck when his car ran out of gas. He showed true grit. He was my favorite character, because he was the one who inspired me the most during this movie. This movie made me feel like I was right there with him throughout the whole thing. It was realistic and intriguing.
