Good story, Not enough for a whole film

If you like to be scared, if you like to laugh, and if you like to learn a thing or two at the movies, this absolutely cannot be missed.

Blistering performances.

This is really a great concept, not as cheesy as Sliders, but along the same lines. I liked the actors, and script, although the dialogue seemed a little weak at times. I'll never understand how stuff like this get's axed, but other absolute crap is made into a series. I hope by adding a 10 to this enough people will pay attention that maybe we'll get the rest of the story. It really leaves you with a cliff hanger that may never get answered.

I will fail this film for on reason only: it was conceived as a TV show pilot and it failed, so they released it as a movie. That means ending with a huge cliffhanger and explaining nothing.Not everything else was cool, either. There were some clear TV like story fixes and the classic "I am here, I have all answers, but I am going to go because I have important stuff to do" trope, as well as some poor scripting.However, the rest was OK. Acting was reasonable, direction and special effects, too. The scripting left a little to be desired, but not much.Bottom line: a clear rip-off of Sliders. At the end of the film you are left with the same premise: "you can't ever go home, but you can always try". The characters, though, are some kids with no training or experience (except punching people for one of them). If this would have been taken on as a series, I would have watched it, but then again, I watch all kind of crap.

What i would like to know, is this a teaser for a new TV show? if so, when? I used to enjoy the old sliders show, and this i think would be a great re-boot of it. so far the acting is fairly good, and the scenes are fairly well thought out. locations are spot on, although maybe a bit rushed in places. OK, the old sliders was a hokey kind of show, where this one seems to at least tie things together, they have left allot of bread crumbs for further expansion of this movie. allot of unanswered questions, makes you want to watch more, but the movie ended abruptly with them on a different earth. i certainly hope they make this in to a TV show.(Seriously 10 lines minimum to be able to make a comment? That's got to be the dumbest thing i have heard of in some time.)

This is not a movie, it's a pilot, a first double episode of what was supposed to become a show. I wish I knew before I wasted my time.You can clearly notice it looks and plays like a TV show, but I liked the premise so I didn't mind. Until the end. When it just stopped. Last line "See you soon" or some bullshit. Then nothing more.This is like selling you the first chapter of a book as "a book". Ehm ... it isn't really a book, we just made the first chapter, an introduction to something that we didn't really do after all... Could have been a decent show. Could have been a decent movie, maybe 7/10 or 8/10, but as it is now, just a beginning and nothing more, it's a waste of everybody's time. Thus 3/10. Maybe 2/10. I'm so upset.
