There is just so much movie here. For some it may be too much. But in the same secretly sarcastic way most telemarketers say the phrase, the title of this one is particularly apt.

The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.

The film creates a perfect balance between action and depth of basic needs, in the midst of an infertile atmosphere.

Yes, absolutely, there is fun to be had, as well as many, many things to go boom, all amid an atmospheric urban jungle.

This movie tries to be everything at once. Fails at everything besides being a very gory parody. Clearly inspired by Cannibal Holocaust and similar movies of the 80ties, instead of going for the shock value of trash movies it quickly turns into some kind of a cannibal theme parody. Most of the actors and extras were smiling time to time. The gore scenes were well made yet still their purpose was not to shock or disgust you, but rather to confuse you on how to feel. Seeing confused extras doing something they don't understand and looking into the camera... I guess Eli Roth finds these scenes funny or something, but not everyone has such a twisted mind to be able to enjoy gore for the sake of gore (or laughs).Story is pretty straightforward yet still has tons of plot holes. Cannibals, intelligent enough to understand planes, mobile phones and to breed pigs, still eat humans for some reason. And they make it look like everyday routine, kids having fun while eating human flesh...Again. Why?The ending just spits on your face. They clearly tried to steal the "who are the real monsters" message, but this surely doesn't work in a movie like this. Just makes the lead actress an asshole in the end, she learned nothing. It's not even good trash, it's confusing, stupid, overly long and kind of boring.

A Cannibal Horror film. A group of Eco-Activists are flying back from a jungle site after a success full confrontation with jungle clearers when their plane crashes. The survivors are captured by a Cannibal tribe. On the Horror level it gets 5 stars. Gruesome isn't the word: people chopped up while still alive, eaten alive. Smeared with goo and staked for ants to eat alive. Not a film I will forget in a hurry. Great cinematography and direction, good story-line and acting. Not for the squeamish or faint-hearted.

Read some of the reviews and what did you people expect? Did you not see cabin fever or hostle? This movie is pretty much what I expected an average horror movie with over the top gore and violence. Not great but fairly entertaining. The scenery is beautiful. Could have been better but still worth the watch.

I have to say, I was looking forward to seeing this movie when someone mentioned it on a horror forum saying how explicit it was and shocking. All in all, I was disappointed. With it having potential, I thought it would be an all out gore fest...I mean its a cannibal tribe for christs sake! But to be honest the gore wasn't well executed. Even though the first death did leave me feeling uneasy (nowhere near as uneasy as the film 'Cannibal holocaust' made me feel) because it was extremely gory and "kind of" well done, the rest just made me feel bored...Not only that but it came across like the gore was very cartoonish and more comedy based in some parts. I know that the film did have some comedy elements and I have nothing against that in horror but some of it was just darn right weird. I'm talking about the goddamn NOT NEEDED wanking scene by the annoying guy which I just found ridiculous. Within the situation they was all in why would he start doing that? unless he was aroused by it all or just plain psychotic...who knows? Also not forgetting to mention the diarrhea scene that one of the girls did randomly because she was feeling unwell. Even though the group had just witnessed one of their friends being dismembered, their friend having diarrhea was seeming to make them more disgusted then anything??? they seemed to show more disgust for that and the guy wanking more than they did anything else that happened in the movie? How does that make sense at all?! Even though they'd seen their friends die one by one...Okay then. Overall, the acting was terrible. I did find myself at times wanting them to escape but there was just a lack of character from all of them which just left you really not caring. I was also disappointed when the main character (notice how I don't remember any of the characters names? that's how unmemorable they are)got home and was talking about her experience and then was basically sticking up for the cannibal tribe even after everything they had done, killing all her group/friends in the most horrific way and eating them in front of her, she seemed to change her way of thought towards them. If you was personally in that situation would you be sticking up for the tribe? NO WAY. There was only one kid from the tribe who lead her to safety, hardly a reason to change your thoughts really after everything she'd been through. WEIRD. I would not like to forget to mention the AWFUL and only jump-scare at the end which was plain terrible and of poor taste. I think rating this 3 out of 10 was too good of a rating for it after me going over the film again. I'm being generous, don't bother seeing this unless you was a mind numbing kind of horror film to watch with friends and maybe criticise throughout.
