It's simply great fun, a winsome film and an occasionally over-the-top luxury fantasy that never flags.

This was really funny at times. I enjoyed it. It is supposed to be pervertedly humorous and it really served well. If you are just looking for a few laughs check it out. If you are uptight and are looking for dramatic romance full of medieval sword fighting this probably will not suit your needs.

Up front, I admit my bias. The locations used in this film (and Game of Thrones) were my childhood playground. Now, I like a good laugh and a bit of toilet humour is OK by me, but this film was just awful. Danny McBride is a terrible actor and the script is cringeworthy at best: I just cannot believe James Franco, Natalie Portman and Toby Jones agreed to stoop so low, none of whom return good performances. I note that two of our local politicians got a jolly to Hollywood out of it. The film was touted as an economic success for northern Ireland but I am ashamed to think that something as bad as this has been associated with one the world's most beautiful locations. Northern Ireland film should be more diligent and ensure better scripts are brought to film than this disaster.

'Your Highness' falls into that genre of shock comedy which is hard to pull off usually but the film kept me laughing throughout with its outstanding fusion of fantasy and comedy. When you sit to watch it you're not expecting an Oscar winner so I think all the low ratings and harsh critic reviews it got are totally out of context. For lovers of the genre this is a must and has a good cast to hold it. Danny McBride and James Franco bounce off each other well and Justin Theroux delivers a hilarious performance as the villain. If you liked other films that orbit around the James France/Danny McBride crew such as 'This is the end' and 'The Interview' you'll like this flick.

I don't mind silly, parities for other movies or similar movie plots, but this was the most stupid, vulgar, and distasteful movie I have ever seen. There was nothing funny about it, just plain bad taste.I know there are men who said they liked it, but I don't know any men or women that would find this movie at all to their liking... except immature post adolescents to still snicker at jokes about sex, private parts, masturbation, or using the "f" word every other word even if it makes sense or not. Topics such as rape, beastiality and betrayal of friends and family is no joking matter and I find absolutely NO HUMOR in them at all.
