Self-important, over-dramatic, uninspired.

It's easily one of the freshest, sharpest and most enjoyable films of this year.

A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.

Robocop is an absolute classic of a movie and Robocop 2 not as good as the first one but still very worthy as a sequel so in 1993 the series finally come to an end with Robocop 3 rated PG-13 and people seem to really dislike the movie for whatever reason I can't understand to the point that today it only got 4.0 on Imdb and earn the title:"The one that destroy the franchise" when I as a fan of Robocop watch the trilogy gain in 2018 find Robocop 3 is the perfect ending to the crime fighting saga of our beloved cyborg. It the only one when i actually tear up when hearing the conversation with Nikko about how her family is with her forever and when Robocop flying through the town with jetpack on his back gave me goosebumps all over my body.

Peter Weller bailed out from RoboCop 3 and in this film, Nancy Allen soon follows. What is worse you have to wait for ages for Robert John Burke to show up as RoboCop. He sides with the down and outs of Detroit City who are being moved on by the Urban Rehabilitation Officers hired by the evil corporation, Omni who want to clear the slums and build new skyscrapers.Angry at RoboCop's actions, the villain McDaggett (John Castle) hires robot ninjas to take him out and Omni smear RoboCop as having gone rogue. The original Robocop directed by Paul Verhoeven was an ultraviolent satirical classic with black humour and an anti corporate stance. This is a poor film lacking any subtext of the original but just cashing in on its success. The effects look cheap and the script is third rate.

Having allowed greed to get the better part of them over a long period of time, the corporation known as OCP now faces bankruptcy and this greatly complicates their pet project aimed at renovating the entire city of Detroit--for a huge profit. So to help them with their diabolical scheme they merge with a Japanese corporation who shares their desire to build a new city named Delta City over the ruins of Detroit. Needless to say, to do that they have to remove the residents currently residing there. With that in mind they hire a firm known as the Urban Rehabilitators led by a ruthless man named "Paul McDaggett" (John Castle) who then issues instructions to physically evict all residents within the proposed Delta City radius. However, their heavy-handed methods soon draws concern from "Robocop" (in this film played by Robert Berke) who joins the rebel faction fighting for their rights. Angered by this the Japanese corporation sends a robotic ninja named "Otomo" (Bruce Locke) to handle the problem. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this film lacked the depth of both of its predecessors and seemed both contrived and artificial as well. That said, while I don't consider it to be a terrible movie by any means, it wasn't exactly that good either and for that reason I have rated it accordingly. Slightly below average.

Robocop saves the day once more. This time the half man/half robot takes on ruthless developers who want to evict some people on "their" land. Many people say that RoboCop 3 is worse than RoboCop 2 i disagree Robocop III was never meant to be the next Terminator 2 in my opinion but in a way i think it was a fun film it has good action it has alright acting and some good funny jokes my favorite moments are the ones in the Church when Murphy looks at the people and then the OCP bad guys and he kept doing that in order for him to decide what to do another great scene is when he was crawling and the theme started playing in the background and he kept looking at the TV and then he looks at the Jet Pack which is my favorite thing about this Robocop movie but also this film is basically a whole political agenda and that is why it was hated just like Superman IV: Quest For Peace none of those films are bad in my opinion i just look at them as fun they have dumb moments and characters but i have fun with them i don't take them seriously and that is why i liked them also it's not the fault of Fred Dekker or even Robert John Burke and even tho Peter Weller left the role that doesn't mean that someone else can't continue what he left and Burke does a pretty good job with both the dramatic moments and the action and also the moments with the kid which i found pretty nice besides he is still half man, half machine he has feelings just like Arnold did in T2 although he was a machine he learned from humans and that is why he sacrificed himself, i'm not saying that this movie is as great as Terminator 2 i'm just giving you an example of what i mean. Nancy Allen also returns for a small part as Lewis and i always loved that scene in the church when Alex says "Officer Down" and it came out very good. Now the problems with Robocop 3 is some of the characters for example Stephen Root as Coontz, Rip Torn and John Castle as Paul McDaggett was alright nothing great or anything i also loved those flashbacks like when he remembered his death or even when he pictured his wife and then she changed faces with Lewis and changed again into Lazarus i liked most of the characters but some were really handled poorly like Shane Black as Donnelly or even Mako as Kanemitsu but overall i found Robocop 3 is one of those movies that i had fun because it doesn't take it self serious it has some over the top action and jokes but in my mind it worked it's just another Superman III and Superman IV i liked them cause they were stupid that's all they didn't try to be serious like Robocop 2 did and that was it's ultimate defeat i give RoboCop 3 a 9 out of 10 and a A- the Original alongside the Remake remain my top favorite RoboCop Movies.
