Great visuals, story delivers no surprises

This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Exactly the movie you think it is, but not the movie you want it to be.

The low ratings are surprising. This was beautiful film in every way. It's sad but also warm and even funny at times. If you are in the mood for a soul nourishing tear jerker, this film will deliver.

Dear, I just want to congratulate the team; the writer, the director, the producer , the DOP and most especially the cast of this film and above all the two friends. These two girls showed a real bond of love and care between the friends and how they help and support each other in the times of their crises. The amazing thing what i had noted in the movie was the splendid feeling of sacrifice and care about your loved ones has been explained really in a sober and aesthetic manner. The whole team deserves the credit of this movie to be aired and thank you very much the production house for giving us a quality entertainment after a long time. I am just amazed and was having tears in my eyes seeing the condition of cancer patient, same was the feeling of my mother when we both were watching it.. May ALLAH save all of us from these kind of diseases.

The film stars Toni Collette, Drew Barrymore, Dominic Cooper, Paddy Considine, Tyson Ritter, Frances de la Tour, and Jacqueline Bisset. It was screened in the Gala Presentations section of the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival.-The film opened theatrically in the United Kingdom on 25 September 2015 and in the United States on 6 November 2015 to mixed to positive critical reviews.--Critical reception: -The film received mixed to positive reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the film has a 69% rating based on 89 reviews, with an average rating of 6/10. The site's consensus states: "Miss You Already isn't shy about going for filmgoers' tear ducts, but its solid script and talented cast are often powerful enough to make up for its more manipulative moments." Metacritic reports a 59 out of 100 rating, based on 24 critics, indicating "mixed or average reviews".--Song: -The film also features a promotional single from star Tyson Ritter's band The All-American Rejects entitled "There's a Place." The song reached number 33 of Billboard's Digital Rock Songs chart, and was met with widely positive reception from critics and fans alike.

Review: This is a well put together movie about friendship and a woman who lives life to the fullest, before she is diagnosed with Cancer but I must admit, I did get slightly bored and depressed by the time that it had finished. After recently losing family members and going through breast cancer with my mother, I really did relate to the concept of the film and the emotions that Milly (Toni Collette) and her family go through. I did find the relationship between Milly and her best friend, Jess (Drew Barrymore), quite sweet but for some unknown reason, I struggled to keep my eyes open through the movie. The fact that Milly had a loving husband and young kids but chose to give her best friend more attention while she was suffering with the deadly disease, struck a bad cord with me but the acting is superb from Toni Collette who brought a lot of emotion to the role. Although the concept is universal, it still seemed like a chick flick, mainly because a lot of screen time is dedicated to Milly and Jess's friendship. Anyway, it's a watchable film which touches on some delicate issues that people in every day to day life, have to deal with but it's not the type of movie that I would watch again anytime soon. Watchable!Round-Up: I've always rated Toni Collette as an actor because she's able to play a variety of roles and always puts in a top performance. She first hit the big screen in the highly acclaimed Muriel's Wedding in 1994 and she hasn't looked back since then. The Sixth Sense (1999), made her an household name and with top movies like Little Miss Sunshine and Shaft, she has proved that she can take on complex roles with ease. This movie was directed by. Catherine Hardwicke, 60, who also brought you Thirteen, Lords Of Dogtown, the Nativity Story, Twilight, Red Riding Hood and Plush. Although this movie wasn't for me, that's not to say that it's a badly made movie and the performances are top form.Budget: N/A Worldwide Gross: $1.1millionI recommend this movie to people who are into their romance/drama/comedies starring Drew Barrymore, Toni Collette, Dominic Cooper, Paddy Considine and Jacqueline Bisset. 4/10
