Repo Men (2010)
In the future, medical technology has advanced to the point where people can buy artificial organs to extend their lives. But if they default on payments, an organization known as the Union sends agents to repossess the organs. Remy is one of the best agents in the business, but when he becomes the recipient of an artificial heart, he finds himself in the same dire straits as his many victims.

This Movie Can Only Be Described With One Word.
A Brilliant Conflict
All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.
This movie feels like it was made purely to piss off people who want good shows
Remember that horror/musical "Repo: The genetic opera"? No? Well apparently the makers of this movie did. Cause its a major rip off of the afore mentioned movie, except without the amusement or the singing. A "repo man" who's job it is to reposses the replacement organs of patients who fall behind on their payments begins to question his job.
REVOLTING AND DISGUSTING! DISGUSTIN AND REVOLTING!
The biggest problem for me is that very few people would agree to this, because very few people could afford it... You can't make the payments? You're dead. You don't get a new organ? You're dead. Either way, you're dead! Now how would you rather die? Naturally, or hunted down and carved open? I think most people would choose the former. The people who could afford it would never need to see the repo men... but the people who are too poor would never take such a risk, to begin with!This could have been a really good movie if they had just made the price tantalisingly out of range, tempting people to make the gamble... Instead, they had to ruin a decent idea by over- exaggerating EVERYTHING to the point where it's too laughable to make a decent dilemma.It's entertaining in a ridiculous way - but thought provoking sci- fi, this is not!
Having seen "REPO - THE GENETIC OPERA" prior to this, I was sort of expecting a more serious version of the same, and I got what i expected.I have seen a review saying that this is just a "Remake of Logan's Run" ... Well, I have seen that film and this is NOT anything like Logan's Run - So do not let that review fool you.This is a pure Sci-Fi Tale of Corporate Greed and corruption... It plays well into the mindset of the world at the moment with the Greed of Bankers having made headlines and a growing disdain for our political leaders... Many may even chose to see this as a vision of our future.My god I seriously hope NOT!The film is Brutal and bloody, highly unforgiving when the violence does ensue, but there is a far more moral story that plays throughout that makes this film a must see...SPOILER ALERT: If you are paying attention through the movie, there are plenty of clues to how it ends... I will not spoil it except to say that you are NOT going to get a happy ending!Would I recommend this film? DEFIANTLY! Its not one you are going to want to re-watch over and over... And it should not be viewed by those of a nervous disposition or who hate the sight of blood...If you enjoyed Repo - The Genetic Opera, you are going to enjoy this as well...
