Ok... Let's be honest. It cannot be the best movie but is quite enjoyable. The movie has the potential to develop a great plot for future movies

The story, direction, characters, and writing/dialogue is akin to taking a tranquilizer shot to the neck, but everything else was so well done.

I found a lot of things wrong with this movie. First, Julia Stiles did not reprise her role as Paige Morgan, which I thought was a very good role for her. I guess she read the script and decided against it. Second, there was no chemistry at all between Luke Mably (Edvard) and Kam Heskin (Paige). I didn't believe for one second that she was Paige and that they were in love to be married. Luke had much better chemistry with Julia than he had with Kam. It just looked very fake to me and I didn't like them together. Third, at the end of the movie, when Edvard gets Paige back, he says a whole speech to her. It can clearly be seen that he didn't remember his lines, so he's reading his lines from the cue cards near the camera. And as he's reading from it, you can tell when he's waiting for the cue cards to switch to the next line. He clearly didn't want to be in this movie and didn't act his best. It's a good storyline, but the chemistry and the acting made the movie unwatchable. I think they should've stopped at the first movie and not made another 3 after the first one.

hi i loved all the movies and i was wanting to know if they are going to make a number 5 as i have read a story of one online and it is really good it is about the royal baby i think this is good to have the next chapter in their lives i just love these movies so much. i would love too see number 5 get made the one online that i have read is really good and i hope the person finishes it off cause i just love too see it made into a movie. so i hope that someone will be able to turn it into a movie and have the same story line as the one that i have read online as i don't think the person has finished writing it yet but i hope they do.

I selected the film from a sat.TV guide as a light entertainment, knowing absolutely nothing of it in advance and not having seen the original film. The opening sequences have greatly surprised me with scenery from my hometown Prague, complete even with Czech flags on one building. Later display of Danish flags could not dispel the confusion in the national identity the film was trying to portray. Same goes for signs on buildings and minor items like car registration plates. It appears the film was made on a shoestring budget, or else the film-makers could not wait another day till the Czech flags, displayed for national holiday or a prominent festival, were taken down before shooting city scenes. The plot was rather simple and predictable, the acting wooden overall, the heroine looked older, less attractive and lively than her opponent. I could not believe the lack of research that allowed a reference to a "5000year old Danish monarchy" into the dialog. Do not bother to watch unless you are a tourist who loved Prague during your visit and want to see the scenery again.

Why? Why did they make this movie! It's so predictable and bad that I switched of the TV after the first 15 minutes. But then I decided to finish watching and it was a disappointment! While the first movie was in my opinion great and I still watch it sometimes, the second one is a disaster! Thank God it was aired on TV and I hadn't bought a DVD (but I wanted). It would have been a complete waste of money! I didn't like the second Paige and I compared her with the amazing Julia Stiles. The thing about the "Book" was copied from "Princess Diaries", the main characters didn't have a chemistry, Paige's rival was sooooo bad!!!!! And the King and the Queen didn't resemble monarchs!!!! How could that possibly be!
